Honestly just a rant, while I am currently in a "professional" writing course I know this blog ain't that, just some thoughts, feelings, observations on the vote a couple nights ago. I should probably just stay off social media with #Abpoli threads for the next couple days. The election is over and if I thought social media was bad before it has just gotten worse. I am not sure who takes loss worse the MAGAts down in the states when Prez Bone Spurs was ejected OR NDP supporters. Thousands of posts, Albertans are all redneck racist homophobic bigots! The crazy part is how many are from people not even in ALBERTA! The thing is I am not even a big UCP guy. Many times I have blogged about Dani Smith and maybe how I don't trust her at all but when you come at my home, of course I am going to say shit back.  OMG again a post that just got too long for social media so it becomes a small blog rant... First lets just all get on board that politics has become a joke. Social media has not helped politics at all. It is now more about people shit posting online and politicians (Of every party) mud slinging rather than doing what is best for our nation. We are more divided and grow more divided every day. I don't want to be a luddite and say tech is bad but without a doubt it has a lot of bad to go with the good. It is great people and parties can reach a wider audience, a more informed voter is a better voter. I am now in Managerial Skill Development. I finished HR with an 89.5% and it made me realize I have become a "keener" I was actually mad I got .5 less and was thinking why could I not have gotten one more test answer right to bump it to 90%. It is still an A but the roundness of that number sounds much better. If I am honest this newest course is not what I expected, it is very psychology driven. Or so far it has been. Looking internally at our strengths and weakness. Which I do understand is important for a manager just not what I expected. Also it is online BUT we are expected to do a group project. I am nervous about that for 2 reasons. 1) 20 years ago I legit was the guy you didn't want in your group and even though I am doing much better in school now I hope I am still not that guy. First I am utterly disgusted with Jagmeet and the NDP. You had a chance to do the right thing for Canada and you caved. Every chance you get you claim it was a failure of Justins and you had a chance to show it but instead you caved. Now I understand you aren't ready for an election if a confidence vote failed. The fact is though yes you are. If an election was called and the NDP had done the right thing, you would have gained. Fuck was he careful to not use that term last night as he introduced vaccine passports. Its that lovely season. No I don't mean fall., though it is that too and it is way too cold in Edmonton these days. Its election season. The worse season of all. I took time to watch part of one debate. Of course I have paid attention on social media and we as a people have hit a new low. It isn't about party or even policy anymore. It has become personal attacks, many of which make high school kids look mature. That's sad, there is no other word for it. The fact is it is down to a two party system really. Cons and Libs. While the NDP has some voters, I am fairly certain they will never form a government, same as the greens. The bloc is only in one province and even though they have way too many seats there, they still won't ever be able form government. So really we are looking at one of two choices. Ahh that lovely time every few years when we see the worst in all people is upon us! That's right elections are coming! The last three elections have not gone my way.... I really did not want the NDP to win Alberta. I didn't want the Liberals to win Canada and I didn't want Trump to win the USA.
