This might be a mixed bag or it might just be politics, a look at Canada and Alberta and where we went wrong. I guess it depends on how long the politics take. Either way heads up, this won't have fun little nuggets like which games I am playing or some good issues to read...... Democracy or at least the art of democratic politics is dead and funnily enough it was killed by the parliamentary democracy government system. We still get to cast our votes, that is true but it has become whoever gets elected is more accountable to their party than to the population they are supposed to represent. There is a party whip now, someone who makes sure the MP or MLA tows the line for the party. People don't run on what is best for their riding but for the parties ideals. I keep saying the party with a very specific point. It is usually in authoritarian countries we have a "party" Glory to the Party!  Its that time again. We need to pick our fearless leader for the next few years. Let me be 100% honest, I love democracy. There literally isn't a better system, what I don't like is our broken democracy. Not that I don't like it actually, I think it needs tweeked. Before I start let me give you a bit of a back story on this. I saw a post on social media the other day. It was a map of the Canadian provinces. There was a line drawn between Ontario and the East with the West and the North on the other side. With the comment, until this changes nothing changes. It showed the East having 231 seats and the West and North only having 107. The implication is the East really has the power and out here we really don't matter. This is true, both the fact and the implication. Really by the time the results are in from Ontario we can usually tell our government. Ya Democracy!  So I am going to do a random thoughts post again. I have half a dozen mostly done entries BUT I am not quite ready to post them, wanna know why? I am having twitter issues.... Years ago, literally I think a decade ago I made my twitter. At first I used it just to rant and not much else. Post stupid pics and memes. Then I started in on Alberta politics and such, then discovered it can actually be used to promote my blog. When I started I was getting MAYBE 20/50  reads a post. So I started posting links to blog and the fact is reads shot way up. Like 100 / 200. If it was something "big" 400 hundred plus. SO that became my focus. I admit I did say some rude things and a couple times got a day or a week suspension. The fact is I accept that, a few times I didn't think it was suspension worthy but I lived with it. Wow it has been a longgggg time since I blogged. I didn't realize my last one really was the end of summer rant. I have 2 half started blogs which my goal is to have finished this week and up plus I have got a ton of writing on my novel done but I should take a break and get back at this hence I ain't dead! So whats new? Well world wide ISIS is still evil as fuck. For the second time this year terror attacks rocked Paris. The West seems to want to turn a blind eye to it but the Russian Bear Putin has struck at them. There was a carbon summit in Paris after the attacks I guess worrying about the environment is more important than defeating evil. I mean yes we need to look at that but right now maybe we should stop a war before it comes to us. I will have a big blog up about that so I am not gonna dwell on that. I don't even know were to start. The PC was "The Party" in Alberta. As close to a true Dynasty in the modern democratic world as there ever has been. And they were lucky enough to b in control of one of the richest provinces around. Some how they blew it! Not even blew it they imploded. From an uncontested ruling party to a group that all together couldn't vote down anything, even with the help of every other party. How did they get there?? And what is in store for this great land of Alberta. First off, poor leadership choices. King Ralph was one of the most loved leaders this province has ever known. He was an every man. Not a party made John Everyman but a real down to earth hard drinking Albertan. Hell in an infamous picture he is drinking with the Hells Angels. In another one he is giving the "bird" to someone, I assume a journalist.  But he knew when his run was done and stepped down. They replaced him with a farmer. Seriously?? Nothing against you fa...
