I Yoga'd! I want a bumper sticker that says that. Okay it wasn't the first time. I had done "relaxation" yoga before. I enjoyed it, There wasn't much to it, ground poses and a lot of time to think This new one was kind of the same. Slightly more intense. Plus much warmer and not even so called hot yoga. Like the Butterfly pose. Wow it pointed out I have old man hips. It still had a lot of laying on the ground. Internalizing. But with other lower body poses. Ones that told me yes you need to stretch more. I am at a loss though, when they tell you to relax your mind what the goal is. Maybe my mind is too relaxed, with TV, books, video games, writing. I don't sit and worry too much until I need to. Laying there trying to think of nothing, literally crowded my mind with everything. So for the general relaxing part of it not so sure... This time I am not breaking our trip out into each day, I have been here 3 times now. But a brief summary, is a nice easy blog. When we landed in LA it was 32 degrees, just after 3 PM. I love it here! The driving service picked us up again. One time we had Dre the super talky guy, this guy was quiet until we started talking to him. He had been part of an MC, wonder if he would have had some good stories for us.... Soon as we checked in we rushed to the park to exchange our vouchers for tickets so we wouldn't have to do that tomorrow AM and waste time. So as we are rushing there we get stopped in the street by a chubby little black duded with a back pack. He was all "give me love" and huggy and in the personal space. Then he went on about getting out of the gang life and how he was raising money for a community centre in Compton. I gave him $10 for a chocolate bar that was melty (I planned on chucking it anyway) And we carried on to the park. Now this is what the world has...

So another year has come to an end. I am 35 now. Which doesn't mean much except the start of a beer belly from a year of not as much activity as I should have had. Not a shit ton changed in my life. Still work the same job at the same place. Live in the same house and drive the same old truck. Still didn't publish ANYTHING! My thoughts on Channillo changed. Back in Disneyland so I figured I should do a blog or two on it.  SO first let’s just go with the rides. Top few in no real order is this. Indiana Jones, this actually might be Number 1. It is the shit. It has speed a story some good twists and turns and surprise drops. It is good. Pirates is another good one. It isn’t really fast it does have a couple good drops though. But it is a decent length and has some pretty sweet visuals. The Haunted Mansion is a good one. It is also a decent length and has good visuals. Plus it changes at Halloween to tell the Nightmare before Christmas. Jungle Cruise is cool to. This time my favorite ride Splash Mountain was down L Peter Pans flight is sweet, kinda kiddie still BUT the flying is cool. Matterhorn is great. The speed and turns are great. DISNEY!! Of all the challenges this one is easiest to write. Cause I know exactly what I am looking forward to. The return to Disneyland. Come this fall I will be going back for a second time. I am 35 and cant wait to go!!! I first went last year, 33 and thinking I was heading to a gloried K-days where I might see some characters. Damn was I wrong! Old Korn rocks, listening to their first album as I write. So whats new in my life? Well thanks for asking. I turned 34. without much for bells and whistles. I find as I get older my birthday means less. I mean when your a kid its great. Presents, parties, cakes. From like 18 to 31, it was all about the party. Friday, the final day and back to Disneyland. I didn’t think I would become a stickler but I am. I do think that they should be called what they are Disney and Cali. I mean we had hopper passes but never did hop. So really you can go to Cali and never step in Disneyland. But that isn’t really important. So I don’t know if it was cause it was Friday but the bus was packed. The whole thing is to have two buses on one line so people aren’t waiting. So stagger them!!! So we started off Thursday with a buffet again. I gotta say, starting the day off with custom omelette's is the way to go. The fruit really wasn’t all that great considering we are in Cali but oh well. So it was cold. I have heard the term June gloom when you cant see the sun and we were getting it. We tried to go on Toy story mania again but it was crazy busy so we played some games. Won a couple small stuffies. Unlike a real carnival I guess you cant upgrade! Then we went to soaring over California. The line was half an hour, which wasn’t bad. Listening to the trailer park folk behind me was mind numbingly painful though. So California Adventures! Day 2 in the parks, day 3 here. We started with a buffet breakfast, that is the way to go in my mind on trips like this. Now first thing in the park we were told get your fast pass for cars. Well we didn't, we simply braved the 45 minutes line for the ride. Did it live up to the hype. Yup. It has both the Disney story elements and the speed of a good ride. AND they did the set really well. At this point it is cars or Indy for my top ride. On the way out of Carsland we did Maters tow. It is more a kids ride but gotta get them all in. Then we kinda wandered around to see the park. We were going to do the Monsters inc ride when they guy gave us a Buddy pass?? For some reason we got to line cut, not complaining about that but a few people ahead of us wondered WTF. Also it is a decent ride but it is just a story ride. So today was the magic morning. For first timers like me what that is, is getting into the park 1 hours before opening. What that means really is hurry up and wait. BUT before we even get there we hop on the bus, getting excited on my way to Mickey! Then a family comes on. I shouldn't judge my mommy told me not too but both the mom and grandma are in scooters. My thoughts are mean. Then they have to lift up seats and strap these scooters in. Well they cant park them and after watching the struggle I go manually push it into the straps so we can freakin get this shit on the road. We finally hit the park gates... First off, there is a lot of magic morning cards and of course everyone wants in early. So the line up isn't small but it isn't big either. However of course in front of us is a family that doesn't understand the magic morning is an extra and didn't pay for it but wants in and is arguing with the ticket taker. Finally in the air. We got up at 4 AM which is fucking crazy but when you look at the big goal of getting to Disney it ain't that bad. Still hard though. Almost everything was packed so didn’t really have to do anything except shower n coffee. I dis the Henday constantly cause every time I take it, its backed up but today at 5 AM is was clear. Was shocked from St Albert to the EIA was 35 minutes. Some night hockey rinks take longer to get to. Customs is getting crazy, this new thing were they take your pic to get into the states is crazy. Like I am showing you my passport and filling out a declaration so why do I need to do it twice. Also maybe it is my hillbilly side but I hate when people who ain't great at English are the agents. So I am 2 sleeps away from Disney! I have never been there before and I will not lie, I was slightly iffy about about it. As an adult I thought really will it be that great? BUT from everyone I have heard nothing but good things. Plus after looking at all the rides and activities to do there I am game. Plus it is in sunny southern California so how can one go wrong?
