 I really wanted to get back to the series of blogs I have been trying to write. I am very close to being done my next couple entries but shit just keeps popping up. Somethings just blow my mind and the current failure of the Canadian justice system (once again) is making me rant! Again we see a tragic domestic situation, where a common law husband Kenneth Skelly, murders his common law wife. I am not even getting into that part of this story, but into Skelly father Joe. If you haven't heard the story Kenny murders his wife and takes her body to his dads house. I guess dad has a drinking problem and is drunk when son arrives. Son says "Hey dad, killed my wife what should we do?" Guess she has some distinct tattoos and they don't want her ID'd. So the brain trust decides, lets chop her up! Okay, this is a quick opening to the following few blogs I post. The world is going to hell. It sucks to turn on the news, nothing good ever seems to be happening, and there is a constant spin in the media, hoping you start to see things their way. Media doesn't deliver just facts anymore; they provide how they want you to see the world. You open social media, and it is awful. What started as fun pics and stupid status' has been taken over by politics, attacks on people, or mind-numbing videos to keep people glued to their phones. You walk into a waiting room now, and no one smiles or says hi. They are slaves to the phone in their hands, and we look down at ours and join them. I am just as bad at this as anyone. Politics aren't even politics anymore. Politics are attack campaigns that are not about improving the world but rather about keeping power.  You ever watch Walk the Line? I feel like Johnny Cash in Folsom when he stares at the water then talks to the prisoners. See like Johnny I felt I had "seen some things" I have done some stupid shit. Trying to fight bouncers, hanging with shady would be drug dealers, having guys try to sell me illegal guns, my walk home from work down a hooker stroll. That made for some crazy conversations or when they found a body on fire in my dumpster, those are a few choice things that made me feel like I had "Seen Things". Then yesterday I found out my cousin died and it was a kick from reality. I am a pretty average guy, not someone who had seen some things. See I wrote about him in earlier blogs. I called him Bad News cousin if you read them. When I heard he passed though I looked into him a bit more. A simple google search told me what I already knew, he did 10 years for a murder here in Edmonton, after that he was charged in an operation to curb violence and drugs in Calgar...
