So this one took a bit longer than I thought started a few weeks back. Between pup, school and such haven't had a chance to write as much sorry if some is dated....  So I made some people angry this week, online. Again. Edmonton had a COLD snap! I think it was record breaking. Our city put out emergency extreme weather plans for the homeless, which is a good idea. I am sure people could die pretty quick in this shit. Our furnace broke down and that was bad enough, I could not imagine being out in it. That's the background, now some more background. Edmonton's woke and hip progressive mayor Don wants us all to use the LRT to bike, to lower our TINY carbon footprint. I guess that's a noble goal. I mean it will mean nothing if the major nations don't but hey might as well try. I hate the LRT. In general its dirty and doesn't feel safe at night. So it has been in my peripherals for awhile but lets talk about Emmell Summerville and his mother Una and the durag incident. You haven't heard about it? Google it quick. Get the jist? Depends on where you watched / read it. The school comes off as racist or just following protocol. A kid was asked to take off a black durag by the principal and the school constable because it has "gang" affiliations. I am going to flat out say it, it might. I am not in cities gang  unit, I don't know. I do know 81 is associated with the Hells Angels but a kid wearing a hockey jersey 81 likely isn't an Angel and poses no threat and wouldn't be called aside on something so crazy. I got a lot of butthurt here to deal with, so let's get this quick rant started. I don't particularly like Don Cherry, when coaches corner comes on I tend to go do anything from take a dump to make a snack. To me he is over rated, he isn't someone like Scotty Bowman. He isn't a Stanley Cup winning icon, but a guy who used goon hockey to win. BUT never won the big show! (Saying that I do know he has some record for most guys in a single season to break 20 goals) I just have never really seen him as more than a loud mouth. He called Crosby (Hard to admit this but probably the best player in the game) A hot dog. Well Duh old man, at that point he was a young superstar! Ovi almost made his head explode. He criticized Yakupov for something Theo Fleury did and he though was just fine (Cause Theo is Canadian). The fact is he is a dinosaur of a long gone era of hockey. Nothing wrong with that tough gritty style, but it is leaving. Sorry Don. So we just never saw eye to eye...

It is painful for me to see more and more this country of ours divided. I don't know how it got this way, well I do have an unpopular theory. Wanna hear it? I assume since your reading this you do..... We the majority were assholes. For years minorities were treated like shit. Lets just refer to most of us a old white men. We didn't like "queers", we didn't like different skin colours, we really didn't like other religions. Hell we even held women down, now don't get me wrong women many of you were just like old white men happy to see other minorities held down. And let's say this went on for a long time! Not a few years but a few centuries. People get angry, people start to resent us. Then comes the 60s, the 70s and the 90s! Social justice becomes a thing. And it is a good thing.
