Let me wrap up House of the Dragon and Rings of Power. I REALLY enjoyed both. Rings of Power starts slow but the middle is very good. Plots push forward and things tie together nicely. If this is a spoiler to some I am sorry but I am confused. I thought Isuldur was king a LONG time after the fall of Nuemenor. Clearly he isnt, I assume we will see the fall and see him become the king of Gondor. Just saying thought it was a big time jump. Like doesn't he fall and he house of stewards rules Gondor for a long time? Like if thats right there are barely any kings of Gondor? NO wonder Boromir say "Gondor has no king. Gondor need no king."  It might be time for the Fear The Walking Dead AMC franchise to just die & not come back. The original was amazing back in the day. 2010 it was pretty ground breaking stuff. The fact was it had great source material and it was good! There were some slow seasons and some great ones. It was limping by until Negan showed up and saved it. I don't know if it is click bait but I see a ton of stuff people saying they quit watching after he came. Literally for me had he not come I would have been done. Even that got old and really it is probably good we are on the "last" season as it is slowly dying. (I "" last season because I think we all know it is building to joining titles and maybe movies into one SUPER walking dead thingy) The sad thing is I had so much hope for Fear and honestly it has never lived up.....  I wasn't starting a new blog post yet here we are.... This was going to be a tweet but it was way to long. AMC we need to have a chat..... First lets start with the Walking Dead Franchise. Fear just wrapped up another lackluster season. I am one of those goofs who watches a show until it ends. No matter how awful it gets like True Blood or Once Upon a Time. I may have to walk away from Fear though. Let me be SUPER honest here. Fear had an awesome concept and from the first trailer is looked like it would follow humanities downfall. THAT WOULD BE COOL. The original TWD was doing a good job of showing the world after but how interesting would it be to see what the world was like as it fell! Maybe it is my man crush but I thought Nick was the perfect character to tell this story. Hell the whole Clark family was perfect for this!! I get actors want to move on and in an apocalypse series people are going to die but does anyone even remember the Clarks? I guess this is my whole beef wit...

So what's good? I am constantly asking myself that. There are a million options now a days. Cable, which is going downhill, Disney Plus, Netflix and Prime are all the things we have. I could go on about a million shows I have watched over the years BUT I think I am going to say it has to have aired in the last 3. I also figure I need to keep it down two 1 or 2 per service or this will go on all day.  I have to start with Game of Thrones. I am not about to go deep into it because for 7 seasons it was the best show on T.V. Yes it had some slow moments and some gross moments but it might have been the best thing on T.V. I will go as far as to say ever. Then we had the final season, with no source material. Could we just redo it? I am not complaining because I didn't like it, that it wasn't an ending I wanted. I mean how often did that show do something fans didn't want. I rant because it really was awful. Arya killed the Night King. Sure that was awesome, but that's it...

I had such hope for Fear the Walking Dead. When it first came out I mistakenly thought it was going to show how the apocalypse started. The previews looked like it was going to show L.A and I hoped somehow it started all there. Well it didn't! We still have no idea how or why the zombies came. And to be honest the main show was getting a bit stale, so much hope rested on FTWD. (Negan did revitalize the main show for a bit but with that story over I also worry for the regular TWD) Fear flopped. That is a harsh judgement as they were only given 6 episodes to start. It is hard to write a decent season in six episodes but by the end of season 1 you know a few things Daniel is badass, Nick is the shows biggest hope and at this point Strand is mysterious and could be interesting. So came season two and I stayed watching. Season 2 starts again no hook. Alicia & Chris continue to be annoying, Strand shows he a rat and Daniel dies. They outsmart some pirates who originally outsmarted ...

SO I said I wasn't going to blog for a bit cause I was pouring all my time into finishing a manuscript. I lied. Not on purpose but I find it is easier to take a break just rant a bit and then get back at 'er. SO here is just some unedited fluff of the last few weeks. Everyone has heard about the Humboldt Broncos tragedy. I am not going to say much about it, what more can you?? I read it could be used as a Canadian fiction tragedy. Some random shit bugging me, well first I am sitting in a Tim’s blogging like some sort of hipster douche!! But oh well without the worldwide web I might not get distracted! So summer is almost over, and I haven't ranted in awhile!! So I guess today I am doing a fluff piece about my summer so far. It hasn't been amazing so far. I mean it hasn't been bad at all just pretty meh! First off on the writing front my chance to publish with Channillo expired but when I have something good enough or that I feel good enough I will ask them again. Plus if I wanna release bi weekly I will need a hella lot of chapters done to stay ahead. I have been working on a 30 day writing challenge but it ended up taking almost 90 because of my shitty wifi..... Also I think I am about to go through years of writing in my office and finally organize it. I wanna say this, summer is the best. I love walking around the neighbourhood at night smelling backyard fires. I love wearing shorts, tees shirts and sandals and hellz ya I like watching the girls of summer! I got an unexpected yet awesome text from a friend last night watching the first Daredevil of the new season. He gave rave reviews to the show and to Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) Sorry all you other punishers you were kinda lame. 20 years ago when I got into comics it was a "nerd" thing.
