This might be a mixed bag or it might just be politics, a look at Canada and Alberta and where we went wrong. I guess it depends on how long the politics take. Either way heads up, this won't have fun little nuggets like which games I am playing or some good issues to read...... Democracy or at least the art of democratic politics is dead and funnily enough it was killed by the parliamentary democracy government system. We still get to cast our votes, that is true but it has become whoever gets elected is more accountable to their party than to the population they are supposed to represent. There is a party whip now, someone who makes sure the MP or MLA tows the line for the party. People don't run on what is best for their riding but for the parties ideals. I really need to stop blogging in the AM. It is supposed to be for "real" writing. But I am so bad at editing I have been avoiding doing it like the plague. HOWEVER for really real, I am gonna start, tomorrow... I am so closed to finish, then I need another person to edit. Plus I am insecure about it.                                               The New House                                         Late summer 2009ish I think is about where we can jump in. I was moving for the 12th time in the nine years since I left home. Moving was starting to be something I detested! But this one, this was the best one. Everyone showed up, on time and sober. I think that I am pretty open minded for a Good Old Northern Alberta Boy( Or have gotten much better in the last decade). 90 percent of the time I am willing to at least try another to see anothers prospective. So summer is almost over, and I haven't ranted in awhile!! So I guess today I am doing a fluff piece about my summer so far. It hasn't been amazing so far. I mean it hasn't been bad at all just pretty meh! First off on the writing front my chance to publish with Channillo expired but when I have something good enough or that I feel good enough I will ask them again. Plus if I wanna release bi weekly I will need a hella lot of chapters done to stay ahead. I have been working on a 30 day writing challenge but it ended up taking almost 90 because of my shitty wifi..... Also I think I am about to go through years of writing in my office and finally organize it. I wanna say this, summer is the best. I love walking around the neighbourhood at night smelling backyard fires. I love wearing shorts, tees shirts and sandals and hellz ya I like watching the girls of summer! Well Fort Mac is burning. It is the worst disaster in Alberta I think I have seen in my lifetime. 88,000 people forced from their homes, at minimum 1600 structures gone. It is a sad and dark day in Alberta. BUT the single fact remains Albertans are a great people. There is a huge swell of pride when I see the huge out  pouring  of people donating and even heading towards an inferno. To help out their fellow Albertans. Hello Canada, Picture me in a nice house coat sitting in front of my laptop sipping a warm coffee writing to all of you. I would rather not have to write this but the thing is I am tired of hearing how our province, Alberta is the devil. Also I am pretty tired of hearing my province divided. One day when people look back and want to know what 2015 was like. This here will be my take on it! It may or may not be "correct" but here is a small part of my understanding of the last year. Some Random Events - Greece went broke, how a whole country does that I dunno. Ireland made same sex marriage legal! Good job you drunken bastards! The US supreme court followed that up to. Wow it has been a longgggg time since I blogged. I didn't realize my last one really was the end of summer rant. I have 2 half started blogs which my goal is to have finished this week and up plus I have got a ton of writing on my novel done but I should take a break and get back at this hence I ain't dead! So I am 2 sleeps away from Disney! I have never been there before and I will not lie, I was slightly iffy about about it. As an adult I thought really will it be that great? BUT from everyone I have heard nothing but good things. Plus after looking at all the rides and activities to do there I am game. Plus it is in sunny southern California so how can one go wrong?
