Two words or phrases that make me laugh. Huh, I don’t really
know two phrases that do that. I mean 90 percent of the shit old people say
makes me laugh. First off I mean they have all these funny phrases like “That
will be the frosty Friday.” Well we live in Alberta so I am guessing 40 out of
the 52 Fridays we get are frosty. Or they have 0 Politically Correct concerns.
Guess what my great grandmothers cat was named, we was totally black…. I mean if they ain't saying it
to be intentionally mean and you take it as just the way they are some shit
from older peoples mouths is pretty damn funny. But I cant go on about that
cause there would be too many phrases.
So one that does make me laugh is “Do you want something to
cry about” Ever hear it?? Ever been asked it? Usually to a crying child. That’s
like saying hey you got a broken toes can I step on it for ya?? It doesn’t
really matter what reason real or not if a kid is screaming and crying they
already think they have a reason so why offer another? I personally would like
to hear some kid reply some day with “No you dumb bastard I am already crying.”
Also completely unrelated but I HATE the current butchering
of the English language. People (Kids) *cough cough* are losing the ability to
talk. Saying shit like LOL, OMG and AF drive me mental. If you are gonna LOL
just frickin laugh. If you say it I don’t think you actually mean it. I admit I
am bad, my mother constantly says stop texting OIC but I do it cause I am lazy.
Not because I am from a generation that refuses to talk properly!! Also FTW
means Fuck The World not For The Win!!
A new one that makes me laugh is First World Problems. It
doesn’t really make me laugh so much as I use it all the time. Mostly cause its
true. We often forget how lucky we are over here. Some places don’t have clean
water to drink and we shit in a chair filled with water in our own homes. It is
kind of a grounding statement. So what if your double tall skinny latte ain't
foamy enough. We all, myself included forget how great we have it here in the
Great White North!
