Canadian Justice failing... Again

I really wanted to get back to the series of blogs I have been trying to write. I am very close to being done my next couple entries but shit just keeps popping up. Somethings just blow my mind and the current failure of the Canadian justice system (once again) is making me rant! Again we see a tragic domestic situation, where a common law husband Kenneth Skelly, murders his common law wife. I am not even getting into that part of this story, but into Skelly father Joe. If you haven't heard the story Kenny murders his wife and takes her body to his dads house. I guess dad has a drinking problem and is drunk when son arrives. Son says "Hey dad, killed my wife what should we do?" Guess she has some distinct tattoos and they don't want her ID'd. So the brain trust decides, lets chop her up! What in the fuck is wrong with these people! Your kid comes to you with a body and you help chop it up??? For some context daddy was an ex butcher and he used an axe, boning knif...

As Canada falls... Gaza and Online Harms

I am for the most part a pretty proud Canadian, even with the dipshit we have running the country, its still the only nation I want to call home. A mansion in Beverly Hills, ya that would be sweet with a Canadian flag flying out front. Now that I know tattoos really don't hurt I keep thinking of ones to get and sometimes dream about working the maple leaf into something. However 2 things are really getting to me these days. They make me wonder wtf is wrong with our nation, why we are so divided and losing sight ofthe things that did make us a great nation. So a quick bitchy blog, here they are. 1) Gaza. Am I horrible for saying this, I don't care. I have been blogging about media and honesty and such recently and this is a prime example of it. Person A claims Israel is bombing the shit out of people, killing innocents on purpose, starving people to death, sending assassins into hospitals, raping and on and on. Person B then refutes it. The assassins in the hospital killed high ...

Feb Randos!

Hiram Lodge killed Riverdale! We did a rewatch of the first season and have started the second season. I remembered how much we liked season 1 and season 2 should have been good but pretty much the second Hiram shows up the shows goes down hill. I don't think we got past the third season and I doubt on the rewatch I am sure we won't but I do think pretty much soon as he shows up it goes downhill. Yes parts of season 1 were pretty far fetched but man this show goes to shit after so much potential SO fast! Echo was alright. I already wrote MCU hasn't gone downhill per say but just too much of it. Echo is a prime example of that. It isn't top tier shit but it isn't bad, it is just too much. I mean Loki season 2 seems like it just ended. I don't remember if I commented on that, it was alright. Loki has been developed such a deep character and Thor has just been made into a bone head.... Anyways, moving on. The Marvels just came out and now Echo? SLOW down, that'...

Part #6 Social Media

Remember when social media used to be fun? Are you old enough for that?? I am, and it is sad to look back at it. So, I will start with some of my social media history. As is typical, it hit America first. Then it soaked into the east and Ontario. A friend out there invited me to Facebook; that was the first big one, but we can go back even further to MySpace days. I didn't really get into that one, but I did some reading, and it blew my mind at one time over 300,000 million users and valued at $12 billion. I remember that one as being music and some pictures. It was enjoyable, or at least that's what I remember. Nothing serious, no politics, but goofing around. Then there was Nexopia... I should have seen the toxic internet culture coming from there. For anyone who may need to learn what Nexopia, it was a smaller social media community started in Edmonton that is/was 95% Canadian users. When we signed up, I said we because it was myself, and a couple of roommates found out abo...

Part 5: Indoctrination Church & School

There are three institutions where children get indoctrinated—the home, Church, and school. Of course, now there is social media and more, and I will get to that, but let's start with two of these three institutions. First off, you can't change homes. Whether you agree with what a family teaches a child, it is their right to raise their child. As long as the child is cared for, it is none of anyone's business. Right there, we could solve many issues, people minding their own business. What I am getting at is I am not commenting on how families raise children. I have no children, and while I have a rough idea of what I may want to say or do for child-rearing, even if I had some, it isn't my place to comment on how others do it. If you keep your kids healthy, give them the best life you can, and put them ahead of yourself, then carry on. So when I say Church, I mean all organized religions. I am not about to put any religion above any other. Every single one of them has ...

Part 4: Nothing Burgers Guns and Climate Virtue Signaling

This one won't be popular or well-received for my blogs. Writing on society's ills, I must address the hot topics of guns and climate change. In the long list of things to get right, these aren't the significant issues we need to be worried about in Canada, Edmonton, OR at least not the way we are. So here are the two most giant nothing burgers we have today! Climate change is 100% real; I will not deny that. My question is, do we matter in that? LA and NY have 20 million people. All of Canada has just cracked 40 mill. Our neighbors to the south are well over 330 mill. We are a drop in the bucket compared to them; in fact, we barely crack the top 40 for nations by population. India, China, Pakistan, Brazil, Russia & the States, if they don't change, we could change everything about ourselves, and it wouldn't matter. This does not mean we shouldn't try, but we should do helpful things. I have said I am for a sin tax on health issues and addiction. I am not fo...

Miss ya Big Chad

I had another blog lined up for this week, edited and all. Something came up though, something I found more important so I am writing about it this week. This one isn't really edited its just me, expressing shit. I guess I have been lucky over the years. Yes I have lost people, great grandparents I am lucky enough to remember. My grandma, which really hurt. Some cousins, aunties, uncles and a few people I would say were not "friends" but maybe acquaintances. I am 42 now and I lost my first real friend. He was 40. If you read my old blogs or if you want you can go back and read some stuff on "Chad" that isn't his real name. I changed everyones names in those blogs but Chad is something he went by, we will get there. I can't believe how much it hurt to find out he was gone. For the last few years he moved out East and I found out he passed from a Facebook post. Or I guess he had passed as he wasn't named so I texted the person who posted it and yes he...
