 Futurama needs a come back. I will be honest I didn't pay much attention when it came out. I thought it was a Simpsons knock off cash grab. Boy was I wrong. Simpsons IMO at least was the king of animation. While South Park and Family guy are hilarious and have some awesome episodes no one actually hit suburban life like the Simpsons. I am willing to say up to about the 15 - 18 ish seasons we watched every new episode, it was gold. Now maybe it is being milked.... BUT like always losing focus, anyways I THOUGHT Futurama was a knock off. Yes I know who created it, just thought they were milking. I was wrong, watching the whole series now on Disney plus this is the smartest comedy out there. I want it reaired now so peoples heads explode!  I have been ranting a lot about politics and pandemics recently and I was going to move on from that BUT I do want to get another serious topics off my chest first. MENTAL HEALTH So before I get into it, I have to give you my history with it. In general I think I am fairly healthy, I have spoken to a psychologist more than once. They have told me more than once I need to express more emotion. One did think I had sociopathic tendencies with my "lack" of empathy. He did decide I wasn't but that had a lot of room to improve. So that's me now. 20ish years ago when I felt like I was losing control of my life things were different. I had dropped out of college and was working minimum wage jobs, getting deeper and deeper in debt borrowing money from my grandmother I was in bad shape. Fuck was he careful to not use that term last night as he introduced vaccine passports. I will say in all my life I have voted Conservative at every level of government. UCP was the first time EVER I didn't. Not because I wasn't still a con but because I didn't like or trust him.  Its that time again. We need to pick our fearless leader for the next few years. Let me be 100% honest, I love democracy. There literally isn't a better system, what I don't like is our broken democracy. Not that I don't like it actually, I think it needs tweeked. Before I start let me give you a bit of a back story on this. I saw a post on social media the other day. It was a map of the Canadian provinces. There was a line drawn between Ontario and the East with the West and the North on the other side. With the comment, until this changes nothing changes. It showed the East having 231 seats and the West and North only having 107. The implication is the East really has the power and out here we really don't matter. This is true, both the fact and the implication. Really by the time the results are in from Ontario we can usually tell our government. Ya Democracy! I have to say this article started June 26th. A lot of things came up and I didn't get it printed until now so some is dated BUT that doesn't change how I feel on this topic. So let's start off with my position on religion. I don't mind it, it isn't for me, but people seem to find strength and solace in it. SO all the power to them. Now my biggest issues comes with organized religion. It is just like people. A person is smart, a group is dumb. Same concept applies. A person can worship god whenever, wherever. Or that is what I have been told, it doesn't have to be in a church. So a person by themselves can be smart, church.... Now you have god involved and devotion to that will make people do AWFUL things. I am not saying that just for Catholics but ALL religions. So that's how I feel about that.  I wasn't starting a new blog post yet here we are.... This was going to be a tweet but it was way to long. AMC we need to have a chat..... First lets start with the Walking Dead Franchise. Fear just wrapped up another lackluster season. I am one of those goofs who watches a show until it ends. No matter how awful it gets like True Blood or Once Upon a Time. I may have to walk away from Fear though. Let me be SUPER honest here. Fear had an awesome concept and from the first trailer is looked like it would follow humanities downfall. THAT WOULD BE COOL.  3, I currently have 3 blogs half done NOT counting this one. So I aim to finish them, just been a lot going on with my head full of ideas and none flow together great. So this is a mixed bag... Lets time travel, to the late 80s, early 90s. I am a hockey nut. I love hockey cards, collect them all. Love spending hours outside playing hockey in front of the house winter or summer.
