30 day writing challenge #7 What tattoos I have

In this challenge maybe they didn't make things broad enough. Not everyone has tattoos. Not everyone likes or wants tattoos or any body mods. I want tats! But the fact is I am a giant sissy scared to go under the needle for them! Major turn on. Some chicks with good tats are totally hot! But it has to be both a hot chick and a good tat. Some guys tats are pretty sweet too. (Not a turn on) Well done tats are awesome. Shitty tats are shit. If your gonna change your body for life you would think you want a good one. Again I am too much a baby to get one but I guess I can talk about them.

Full body art while neat I think is dumb. What is the point in getting completely covered? You do realize with time your skin is gonna sag. And what looks awesome now, will not at 80! That doesn't just go for full body. I mean you gotta think am I still gonna like this tat 60 years from now? Like a ton of tramp stampers are gonna regret it!

Also hollow words and Chinese symbols are oh so very meh! Guys (roid monkeys) who got hooked on Sons of Anarchy and now have shit like Loyalty tatted on them annoy the fuck outta me. The people who do have that tat usually have went above and beyond for some reason to earn that tat. (I can say while I think I am loyal I wouldn't get that tat.) And barb wire around the arm?? Come on, how much do you wanna look like Brock Lesner. Also Chinese symbols please white people just stop. The running gag that they say shit like dishwasher, ya I hope that's true. If your gonna get something get nice art or something with real meaning to you. Also I don't mean get someones pic tattooed on you. Some of those true into real shit shows. Also google Nicole Malice Tattoo. You'll know it when you see it. Ouch. I mean kudos on having the stones to get that done but WOW. Assuming she is a secret geek...

What would I get, honestly I dunno. I have never really thought of it since I am a wuss and cant get it done. Me I would probably get a family crest. (If we had one) or something like that. Maybe the Cheshire cat. IF it was well done. NO skulls, no dragons, no barb wire. Maybe family names, if I had kids. Or do something were all three brothers get names tattooed. I dunno as cool as I think they are I hate a lot of tattoos out there....

Anyways this is a short one for the challenge cause it isn't overly relevant for me!

Edmonton / Highway of Tears

This was going to be a small paragraph in a bigger random blog but it grew really fast and the fact is I thought it was rather interesting so it will be post of its own. Alberta Politics Pre 2019 election

Ahh that lovely time every few years when we see the worst in all people is upon us! That's right elections are coming! The brutal truth is both federally and provincially we are going to see shit get nasty. From both sides, let's not pretend anyone is innocent. This is all I am going to say on politics for awhile, at least until elections OR if something crazy happens. I really need to concentrate on actual writing. Not twitter bickering with people. So here is it my thoughts on the current federal and provincial politics. (Breaking this into 2 parts. This one is going to be just media and Alberta) First let's start with the sideliners. The media and the peanut gallery. Rebel Media OR Chicken little media. Whichever you want to call them is fine by me. Part 3 Addiction

So, I have stated first, we need the correct systems in place, and second, we need healthy citizens for a better society. One of the root problems in society, though, is addiction. A mental health problem that can lead to so much more. Family violence, crime, homelessness, job loss, and on and on. There is no cure for addiction. There is management, and there are many things we can do much better to help addicts and society. So, let's tackle this one next.  I like drinking! I like the taste of a good whiskey or red wine. Or the supposed "no taste" of good vodka. I like that little boost of confidence that tells me, hell ya, you can dance! Or the fact that, yes, after a long day, it does take an edge off. I have a ton of great memories of times when booze was around... The flip side of that is I'm not too fond of hangovers.
