So I think this is my last entry for the year of 2023 that won't be in the series I have started. All it will take is a quick read and some of this was started a month ago, or more. I am going to concentrate on those other blogs and maybe be done them by the end of the year, sorry if some of this is really not relevant anymore! 337 years... Anyways what I got from doing family tree research was it would have been my great (X9) grandfather that came here way back in 1686, Jebus. I found out for a few generations we were in Philly and then moved to New Jersey... Thank god we moved outta there. So, I had another entry picked for my first in this series, but I changed my mind. I want to do a few entries on all the things that are fucking up the world right now. I'll back up; seeing the poverty in Yellowknife, staying in downtown Edmonton for a couple of nights, and then seeing downtown Saskatoon the other day, it is heartbreaking to see how the world has gotten. We can also add Pandora Street in Victoria to the list. The poverty, you can look at the crime and addiction stats. It is all terrible & what struck me is that no one gives a fuck. I love Canada, I love 'Berta! But I don't love our politics. If you watch every party, every one, including the ones I support, do fuck all to make the world better. They try to prove how the other party is wrong, but none try to make things better. I have gotten to the point I don't think they want to. Hell, if things get too good, what do they rant about? Even at a municipal level, you take Edmonton, for example. Crime ...

Okay, this is a quick opening to the following few blogs I post. The world is going to hell. It sucks to turn on the news, nothing good ever seems to be happening, and there is a constant spin in the media, hoping you start to see things their way. Media doesn't deliver just facts anymore; they provide how they want you to see the world. You open social media, and it is awful. What started as fun pics and stupid status' has been taken over by politics, attacks on people, or mind-numbing videos to keep people glued to their phones. You walk into a waiting room now, and no one smiles or says hi. They are slaves to the phone in their hands, and we look down at ours and join them. I am just as bad at this as anyone. Politics aren't even politics anymore. Politics are attack campaigns that are not about improving the world but rather about keeping power. Honestly, I never see anything saying this is what we will do, and this is why it is good. It is always what they will do, and...

So I started this one a month or more ago. Couldn't seem to fill it and then one day it all came tumbling out. There ended up being more Abpoli and Cdnpoli than I had planned. So I mean skip it if you don't want. Sure there is the normal comics, movies, games and such as well. I guess just a heads up, it is a real mixed bag and you may want to skip parts....  If you think global warming is causing all these fires and paying more taxes, maybe eating bugs instead of meat will help, you're fucking stupid. ALSO if you really think space lasers or paid arsonists are behind it same thing, STUPID.... Saying that there have been people arrested and charged with arson but I don't think it was paid with a conspiracy behind it, just really stupid people. NOW if you don't think global warming is real or possibly a part of all this, give your head a shake. It is real and it isn't good.  We have had forest fires for probably longer than man has been around. Wildfires have started from nature for freaking ever! Me paying more taxes won't change that. Along with that we as society are not helping. I still see people flick cigarette butts out the window. How, why, like what is wrong with those people?  So I started listening to the Lights Out podcast and I will state I really like it. I mentioned it before an they still are in my top pods, so I don't want this to come off as an attack. Also it ties in perfectly with something I had been thinking recently, the 90s was the last great decade... Ill tie those together in a bit but Ill start with what I didn't like or don't agree with and that was some comments on the Columbine Massacre episode of Lights Out.  Also this is total filler, I do have a series of blogs I want to get done but they do take sometime and some thinking. I am currently wrapping up my last of school and work trips, then I am going to work hard on them but this kind of just popped into my mind driving and listening to pods... I am going to start out with how winning Edmonton is! Them Elks sure are doing good! Still no wins so far this season. Overall they are 7 - 33 since changing their name. I don't believe the universe works like this but it sure does seem go woke go broke.... They had more wins in their final season as the Esk than they have the entire time they have been the Elks. Also watching vids from K-days this year. What the hell Edmonton? While I have been writing a few entries to try and make this city and well the world in general a better place, then I watch videos from K days and think fuck it, its a damn cesspool just let it sink. Look out for number one and let idiots ruin everything for everyone. Like literally we can't even have a carnival without numerous fights and bear fucking spray. God damn we are embarrassing.
