Hockey players can be either douches or great guys. Let me tell you about some douches. We recently played a team all say 17 - 21 and they literally all looked like someone you would cast as the rich bully in a teen drama. They literally all would have been perfectly cast, except not like a muscled bully just a rich kid. They constantly chirped which is part of hockey but then back shit up when you shit talk, don't just scurry away, like rats. What really got me was they singled out a single player to try and pick on. Someone with some issues. If you have to "punch down" your a loser, you should be embarrassed. I am 5 foot fuck all and I take pride in battling guys way bigger than me. Hell I lose a lot but I cause them issues. Everyone on my team even says that, punching down I couldn't imagine. Plus they had 2 "coaches" on the bench. Guys my age, probably a couple dads I assume. Flat out WTF! Your in a rec league of ball hockey in the lowest or almost lowest div. You don't need coaches ffs, its for fun there is no scouts in the stands. Plus parents in the stands. GAY! At 18 playing, it would have been beers afterwards, not wanting mommy and daddy to pat me on the back. I guess generational gap, we weren't bitches. I mean ya if I made it to provincials or nationals I would have wanted someone to watch and ya in my 20s I liked when my girlfriend watched not mommy and daddy. Anyways don't be a loser.

Thank god Invincible was a great season. I started off watching this show and didn't think it was all that great. As the series has gone on I have liked it more and more. It is actually one of my current fav series. The story is great, cast is great, I wonder how close it is to the source material. Also SO pumped for The Vampire Lestat! I have said it before, that was an amazing cast for him and the previews look so fucking good. I am sure an episode or two of it will be out before I post this.... The bad, well the bad is Daredevil Reborn. They started the second half so well, I was right back into it then the last 2 episodes bombed!!! They honestly should have ended it the episode DD and Kingpin fought. The last 2 make 0 sense. Matt stops and exposes Kingpin. Yet somehow the Kingpin gets a pass and Matt is in jail. They had Kingpin dead to rights, there was no way he gets a pass but oh well, great writing Marvel! Then I hoped Punisher one last kill would be good. Nope more hot garbage. There is no real plot, we get to see Punisher kill people. Yes we all like that but come on give us some story?? Big time fails Marvel. House of the Dragon starts tonight. I doubt I will watch it tonight. Maybe a day or two, yes I like but after seeing Knight of the Seven Kingdom IDK, it was a breath of fresh air compared to the always gloomy "main story".

The list.... I have started travelling more and I love it! There are a few things I want to do still at places I have been but don't know if I will ever get back.... Paris, I wanna see the Catacombs. I would say they are the worlds most famous ones. I wanna go to Moulin Rouge! I want to see Versailles. After that I am pretty done with you Paris! I mean I could do another day at the Louvre but that isn't too pressing. Rome I want to see the catacombs here as well and the underground of the colosseum. Along with the baths they look cool. Then as much as I love you Rome, we can be through. Florence, I just wanna chill. I dunno why but it seems so relaxing. I could do another couple nights in our favorite little hotel Villa Neroli on the outskirts of town. NOTHING I really want to see but just I find this place so relaxing. Actually I could probably do the tower and the Duomo but that's all, and relax. Venice! I want a night on the actual island maybe a night and a couple days. I want a coffee at Florians. Maybe St Marks, The Doges palace and the bell tower, then bye bye Venice. The two days we did have in Venice didn't feel like 2 days. I could do another day in Verona, just chill nothing in mind. Part of me thinks Milan or Pisa but really part of me says Milan is just another industrial city and I wouldn't be going to Italy just to see a single leaning tower. Saw them in Venice. Greece I feel there might have been more to but I don't have a crazy pull toward it. Sure another day in Athens I am sure could find something to do. The islands might be great for a few day tropical get away but I don't yearn for Greece. Barcelona might be nice, same with Madrid. I was jet lagged and they didn't really amaze me but when I get home my social media keeps showing me all these cool things I had no idea about there. I could do Toledo for a day or two. Another relax like Florence but nothing crazy. Seville seemed like an artsy party town but so did Lisbon and I think I would rather seem ore of Lisbon. Just saying if I was to get a random free trip to Europe and they said you can only see some things you missed, this would be it! Next might be Germany, Austria, Hungary and Slovakia. For sure somewhere in there..... But that's a few years away
So I was in Spain and surprise it made me hate these Alberta independence fucks even more. SO in Spain there is the Catalonia region. Unlike Canada and Alberta which has only existed for less than 200 years these people have existed for centuries. They have a very distinct identity, right down to language. Still Spanish but a different dialect. In fact in the past they have even been their own nation. When you have thousands of years of history that tends to happen... Then when the nation of Spain was founded they became a province. So again legit complaints. They had a vote and guess what, still part of Spain! They made it work. People with million times more cause, made it work!! Yes Canada is too large. We probably should have been a few countries but too late. These stupid independence fucks with AI posters are such fucking clowns. Like spoiled children, I just can't stand you.
Xmen have hit a slow period. Danger Room was a boring ass story line. Although yes I am a grown man and will say I love Scalphunter and Psylocke together. Uncanny has hit a lul. I dunno if they want to introduce new villains or what but these guys are not catching my eye. Mutina is good and that's about it. All the Batman titles continue to be decent. Nothing mind blowing but all a good read. I miss Ghostmaker and Punchline though. End of Life is worth a read if you like ultra violence and smart ass lines. I don't know where I land on that, is it more Ryan Reynolds or Garth Ennis. I am not sure. Murder Podcast is wrapping up, in general the series was good but the ending explaining things is really really good. Exquisite Corpses was a great read, the ending was a bit meh and the fact is seems like a volume two is coming is really just annoying. I hate when things get milked.
Who knew I would be defending MJ? I never saw that coming. There is that new The Verdict documentary on Netflix about the Michael Jackson trial that we just watched. My god do they go out of their way to frame it as he was guilty. The only juror they talk to comes off as a crazed fan who would never convict him. Diane Dimond seem to be the main source and it is clear she has been after MJ for years! Did she not make it as a back up dancer or something? Why is she so bitter? Her reporting is about as fair an accurate as Fox News. She throws a million implications down and looks in her books but backs it with 0 proof. Even the "books" that make her "tear" up were actually commercially available books. Then you have the Arvizo mama. She was a grifter. She had a settlement with JC Penny that the film talks about. It leaves out they tried the EXACT SAME thing with Chris Tucker! Also they claim to have been held hostage, its seems like they were actually asked to either calm down or leave the Ranch as they were constant issues. In general its an interesting documentary but very one sided. Kind of like Making a Murderer. If you read any books on that, you get a very different picture. Anywho I honestly don't think MJ did it. WITHOUT a doubt he slept with kids in his bed. That's a big fucking no no. Bizarre. Did he touch them, hurt them. I don't think so. He was a whack job that was trying to be nice and do good things. Help people out and was naive. That draws predators. People who try an angle. You look at the hundreds or thousands that went through Neverland and never had an issue.... We will never know and I am not saying anything about him was normal or even right really in regards to minors around him but I also don't think he hurt them
Holy fuck.... The amount of hate for Supergirl is mind blowing. Lets be honest it is a James Gunn movie. We are going to see another lite version of Guardians of the Galaxy? Superman was close enough but this one is even in space and makes Supergirl look just like the cast in GotG 1. Space trash?? IDK what term. So I don't have high hopes for it. Not that it will be bad just I don't expect a lot. On top of that they have found stills of Milly Allcock and are saying she is ugly. Yes they found horrible stills. It takes a two second search to find still where she is smoking hot. Jesus guys, do better.
While on the movie rant, could be a good summer. Not even gonna try and hide it, I wanna see He-man! Every 80s boy wants to and if they say no, they are lying! OF course Spiderman!! Literally one of the only good MCU titles left. It has had soooo much hate but The Odyssey! Nolan is a great director and I HOPE he proves everyone wrong. Toy Story 5, IDK. Truth is the quality of this series keeps going down. Sheep detectives looks cute, eat a dick I am gonna see it! Mando and Grogu, please be good.... Scary movie, please bring back comedy. Please don't be toned down

Ball hockey has been brutal this season. We went 0-8 and they kicked us down another div. I personally have been having great seasons for myself. Last season almost beat all my best seasons and this season has been going great as well BUT as a team we keep falling. For the second half in a lower div we are 3 - 1. The thing is we haven't been blowing teams away in fact 2 of those wins were 1 goal games. I feel like we should be much better but we just keep falling. I really, REALLY hope win can win this div and move back up at least one.
Golf is not a sport. YES it take an incredible amount of skill to be good at it. Yes it is hard but it is a hobby! Anything you can spend a day doing and drinking is not a sport. You can't do shots and get better at hockey. We just finished a 4 day golf trip and it was fun and YES I am slightly sore, but I was more sore after my first ball hockey game after 3 weeks off. It is great for bonding, for bullshitting and having a good time. It is not a sport! Also I do have to say wow. Invemere, Radium, all that area in B.C. is a beauty. Anyone who can, should take a couple days there. I keep talking about seeing all the beauty in the world when I do have amazing shit right in my own "backyard"
Resident Evil has a game called Requiem?? I didn't know it was coming out but I love it! Well it is good, just getting into it. Love the fact it mixes the puzzles and the action. Combining the best parts of the R.E series. Also another Witcher DLC coming!!! I am pumped for 4 even if people are shitting on Ciri but another Geralt story will be awesome and if the rumor's are right its a big one??? I am in.
I am certain I could go on with more rants but this is it for this month. The fact is I am done my Paris, Italy, Greece blogs and once this goes up I will be finishing editing and posting. Then it is on to a Spain, Portugal, Florence and Rome run. I have to get it all written out first though and thats gonna be a bit. So here is where I say until next time!
