What is with this winter! Every time we feel out, it pulls us right back in!! I have also cleaned the sidewalks and driveway bare and then a few days later its snowed or iced again. Which my one poor dog can barely walk on. The crazy thing is my wifes Facebook memories keep showing up as us cleaning the yard, getting ready to plant things. This year feels like I wont have a chance to do that until after our Euro trip, which might make it too late!

The Burbs was a let down. Maybe Seth Macfarlane remembered how much he liked the movie as a kid and tried to recapture some magic. It didn't work. Yes there was a twist or two that was awesome but in general it was meh. Not a great plot and most jokes didn't land. The ending was terrible, not sure if it is cliff hanger for season 2 but if a second season isn't made I won't be surprised. Dark Winds started again, such a good show. AMC is doing great with it, still wish it was HBO, in my mind it is the first season of True Detective just not quite as good. Restarted Ripper Street when I got the Britbox on Amazon. This was such a good show, I mean I have a lot to rewatch but I remember really enjoying it and glad I found again. Also The Boys, Invincible and Daredevil are back. Should get on them but really just been rewatching Lucifer at night. A nice easy, no paying attention show.... Also did power through the first 5 DD, while they will never recapture the magic of the first original season, I don't mind this!

Nuremberg is an awesome movie. First the cast is amazing, the sets are great, the way things are filmed is great. It also has a dry humor you might not expect. What is great about it though is the way it is done. They do humanize the Nazis or at least Goering. He was in the end just a man with a family. Then we see the camps and it is horrifying. What should really catch people is cruelty begets cruelty. They are pretty clear the Nazi got power because of the conditions of the Treaty of Versailles. The world tried to break Germany and in reality it united them. Wanting vengeance actually put the world on a terrible course! Also after seeing a few Mission Impossible on Easter weekend we decided to watch them all. Are they terrible, yes! Are they great fun, also yes!

Big congrats to JK Rowling for being awesome. First she writes some amazing stories, has some wicked movies made and then lives rent free in crazy peoples heads. So another season of hockey wrapped up. Couple things, we made it to semis and lost best of 3 in game 3. Much better than our last few seasons. We went 6-4-6. 6 ties, this div was close so I would say we were in the right div. We finished second solely on ties, a couple more wins would have been nice. Hoping we stay in this div next season, honestly I feel we could win it. Personally had probably the best season I have had in 10 years. I didn't break my own personal bests but came very close. I am going to miss half of next season, but winter... winter season I am gonna do all my personal bests!!
