I am gonna start this with a bit of random praise! The Witcher series is amazing! The books which started the whole thing are so well written. If you are into fantasy I would go buy them right now. Start with the short stories and then move on to the actual series. Fantasy mixed with morality, very well done. Then came the games, Witcher 3 is probably my favorite game of all time. Crazy good. Replacing maybe Mafia 3 which has fack all for replayablity. Is that a word??? Or GTA 4. Just a heads up to telltale games the new Batman is also not that great. I mean it ain't terrible but I expected more. My brother also bought me NHL 2018. This game pisses me off. I am the top point getter in the league but still sent to the AHL. Like really?? Did I want to buy a game so I could play in the minors?? WTF, but yes that is a first world problem.
I was actually going to call this entry dear Jenna. See even if your not "into" porn I am willing to bet you have either heard the name Jenna Jameson or if you saw her pic you would know or at least recognize her. She is the icon of porn. That blonde hair, fake boobs, tiny frame, ya that was her. I will admit when her autobiography came out I got it for xmas. Whatever year that was. But time marches on. Her star fades as younger women come with the same look. So I think she went into producing and stuff and has done very well for herself. She should be proud. The fact however is I hadn't thought of her in years. Then my favorite "rebel" media commentator, the only one who hasn't blocked me tweeted Jenna. So I had to check her out. Seems she has gone Trumptarded! Like James Woods who is now irrelevant to anyone she is spitting right wing hate. I guess she has gone Jewish now and seems to hate Muslims. I mean some of her tweets are hilarious, the in my DM's are awesome. I can't believe what some people say to want from her. And admittedly she does occasionally raise a good point, like most right wingers do but in general I can't believe what she has become. A politico whom I have seen use a dildo on another woman and spit for lube. Anyways the whole point is she is funny. I commented she should do a second part to her book and she liked that. She tried to defend Trump sleeping with another woman, I called her out and I am invalid cause I am Canadian. So I guess as Canadians we can't call out cheaters... So I being unhappy with that responded as per normal she didn't have a valid argument just goes for a personal attack. And her next comment would be about my mother or father as that is what she does. She didn't respond of course, cause I called out all her weapons...... However her hordes did. I just gotta say wow. These people get mean for her. Also these people who claim to be good church going people run to the defense of a pornstar (Which is fine) But isn't porn a sin or something. On top of that they defend a man breaking one of their ten commandments... I don't get it. But I will give her this she has legions of very defensive fans.....
Which pulls up the second part, dirty dirty Donald. Let me say, ya I am willing to bet every guy has thought about banging a porn star. Thats fine, I can say I have honestly. And alright Donnie you did it! But seriously 3 months after your wife gave birth to your son? WTF. Then you pay out hush money. I am certain Baron will be super proud of you dad! BUT it isn't that bad, sadly I think old Mel knew what she was getting into cough gold digger cough cough. She might not have went along with this had she known one day she would be the first lady.
Speaking of first world problems I was reading an article this week that people now find Friends offensive... Seriously, this shit has gone too far. Over the holidays I had a chance to watch Friends from the beginning to the end thanks to an MTV marathon. It had to be on of the funniest shows in well ever. Ya it made gay jokes, get over it. In no way were the jokes mean spirited, they were funny. And what is has been a decade or more and now people are offended. I just gotta say it, fuck off I am sooooo tired of everything being offensive.
I only have two beefs with Alberta Poli this rant. Oil. See a few years back the province voted in the NDP. They took over at a crap time. Oil was crashing like mad. So our oil based economy was in the shitter. They said do not blame the crash on us!! And I didn't it wasn't fair to blame them for shit they cannot control. But now as oil rebounds they seem to think it is their doing.... I am tired of seeing Joe Ceci say hey look how good we are, no look how good oil is. My second beef is the Carbon Tax. No I am not a crazy Kenney repeal it now! person but I do think it is a waste. You want a tax, just put out a tax. I am willing to pay a bit more to keep our province great. I amnot happy when you lie to me about it. Canada on a whole has a TINY carbon foot print. Yes we should aim to be green and not make it worse but we are not a big part of the problem. Don't pretend we are. So your going to tax us and claim it is to help the world. Its not. It is a tax like all others to help the government provide services for us. And I am fine with that just please be honest.
Staying on TV and movies for a bit. King Arthur movie starring Charlie Humnan is awful. Guy Ritchie makes good gangster movies and there is some neat story telling in the beginning of this movie but overall it is just awful. I haven't really seen anything else recently. Although Netflix has some pretty awesome documentaries. Also I don't get the hype over Stranger Things. Yes it is good but not up to the insane hype I keep hearing.
Actually the real reason I was writing this blog is whole Hollywood / Harvey W scandal. I wasn't gonna say anything. But it has gotten to the point that I am tired of it! I mean there are bad men out there. I would say Harv is one of them. Apparently Kevin Spacey is too. But it has gone crazy, everyone except Tom Hanks is. I am not defending these men. Don't get it twisted, I am saying that I think this has gotten out of hand. For some of you I don't feel bad. Some of you were doing what you felt you needed to, to get a job. REALLY???? That's how you got a job. Say no and walk away. And it didn't bother you until now? Sorry I don't buy it. I honestly think for some it is a chance to try and get back into the spot light. And award shows fuck me. Natalie Portman is complaining about all male contenders. THEN FUCKING DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Make a movie I dunno just quit using award shows to whine! ARGH!
So my writing has been going great to be honest. I almost didn't stop to rant. And I should get back at it. Maybe do some house work. But ya debating on putting my openings on here, would anyone message with legit criticism or just be assholes.......
