Been awhile since I just blogged about random shit. A ton has gone on in my life. I got married, I finished a first draft of my book. Work picked up. My grandmother sadly got worse. So ya even though I should be doing something useful in my chance to write this AM, I think I will chill and ramble. I guess if I am rambling about writing I am kinda bummed that Fansideseats.com hasn't been putting new shit up for awhile. I was enjoying writing stuff for the and I think there was actually more views of my work so that was good. But not writing there gave me more time to work on my fantasy novel. Which I finished YA! But editing sucks, it is making me rethink the whole writing process. Like I just pour words onto a page and then get back to it months later. Welp half the time I am not sure what I meant and then my writing was so unedited that I, the writer can't get what I was going for. SO I think I need to work on making sure my first drafts are better. Total random thought but ...

I had such hope for Fear the Walking Dead. When it first came out I mistakenly thought it was going to show how the apocalypse started. The previews looked like it was going to show L.A and I hoped somehow it started all there. Well it didn't! We still have no idea how or why the zombies came. And to be honest the main show was getting a bit stale, so much hope rested on FTWD. (Negan did revitalize the main show for a bit but with that story over I also worry for the regular TWD) Fear flopped. That is a harsh judgement as they were only given 6 episodes to start. It is hard to write a decent season in six episodes but by the end of season 1 you know a few things Daniel is badass, Nick is the shows biggest hope and at this point Strand is mysterious and could be interesting. So came season two and I stayed watching. Season 2 starts again no hook. Alicia & Chris continue to be annoying, Strand shows he a rat and Daniel dies. Who the fuck is Machine Gun Kelly? Seriously two weeks ago I would have had no idea. This week I think he might be the smartest self promoter since Eazy E, their ain't no bad publicity. Anyways we get here because of Yelawolf. See I heard Yela's music on Sons of Anarchy and had to go buy a CD. I was hooked and bought them all. Started following him on Instagram and he posted pics with this MGK kid. Of course I listened to a couple of his songs and damn it if I didn't like him too! So I was going to go buy a CD of his (People still buy CDs just FYI) when Eminem dropped a surprise album. Honestly I haven't heard it yet but I hear it is back to what fans expect from him. Not this Revival album. (I get it, the point behind that album but I have to admit it was miss) So MGK gets bumped and I want this new Eminem album, but I was sick all weekend and didn't go buy it. Had a stag party Saturday, well a stag and doe. To those who don't know that is the guys and the girls partying together rather than separate stag and stagettes. During the day guys went and did "man stuff" which was rec room games. I apologize one last time to any up tight people I may have offended in drag. Actually it wasn't bad except when 3 kids came into the bathroom and I was peeing in a urinal in a miniskirt..... They were confused lol. Drink and dinner afterwards and off to Diamonds. I know some things about myself that aren't always the best. I know I would be a "hanging" judge if I was a judge. If you commit the crime, you can do the time. Yes some laws I think are a total joke and I might give you a slap on the wrist. For example last week I was out running with my dog. My fiance says and pulled completely over (On the wrong side of the road , yes) to say hi.Not blocking traffic nothing. A By-law officer saw comes over and tells her all the tickets he could give her. Reads her license and insurance and all that. Really? Fricking really?! Now he was a decent guy gave her nothing but a warning so I am not complaining but literally I see this weekly or more people parked like that or whatever. I get it that's the rules but I can think of a million other things. Example the first, what about assholes who don't pick up after their dogs. (I DO!) If we are ticketing shit nail those fuckers. I am old! I turned 37 a couple days ago. I celebrated by y going out for dinner with friends and their kids. Oh and I took out a library book and went to the farmers market. My 20th Birthday was a 4 day bender which had highlights like getting 20 some people kicked out of a bar on Whyte Ave. A female friend sleeping with a guitarist from a semi famous Canadian band at a rock concert and showing Twig and Berries to some random chicks on a balcony on Canada Day. I got a fit bit for my birthday which is a cool present but it to made me feel old. It is super neat how I can scan in what I eat and drink and it will count calories and junk for me but as I take my diabetic pill again I realize at 20 I would not have paid attention to that. My work has always given employees $25 o the Bday, it used to buy me a two-six. This year I bought fresh peas, carrots a starbucks coffee and a dog dish. I realized also I have now lived in the Edmonton area for 18 years, 18! WTF! Now I moved here in 2000 ...

It is painful for me to see more and more this country of ours divided. I don't know how it got this way, well I do have an unpopular theory. Wanna hear it? I assume since your reading this you do..... We the majority were assholes. For years minorities were treated like shit. Lets just refer to most of us a old white men. We didn't like "queers", we didn't like different skin colours, we really didn't like other religions. Hell we even held women down, now don't get me wrong women many of you were just like old white men happy to see other minorities held down. And let's say this went on for a long time! Not a few years but a few centuries. People get angry, people start to resent us. Then comes the 60s, the 70s and the 90s! Social justice becomes a thing. And it is a good thing. All people should be equal. But it becomes give an inch, take a mile. NO meeting in the middle. It isn't enough to be equal, it needs shown just how EQUAL you are. No l...
