30 day writing challenge #4 Ten facts about myself

10 facts about me that are interesting?? Do they have to be true?? I mean this challenge does make a person think a lot so I will try and find 10 interesting things about me.....

1) I am a big baby. Seriously I get choked up at shit. Like the movie the blindside. Ya I wont say what but there is a scene that comes on and I cant even talk without wanting to wail like a bitch. Also The Two Towers has a scene like that. And it is way worse when hungover, like I wanna cry. And it isn't always sad shit some is really happy shit! WTF is wrong with me?!

2) I never met my father. Game of Thrones I am totally Tavis Snow. Try my best to be like Jon Snow not Ramsay Snow......

3) Writing is all I really wanna do. I mean books was what it started at. Comics would be amazing. TV or movies would be epic!! But right now it is a blog and soon an online series.....

4) Back in the day. (Again I feel old) My favorite pub wrote my name on the Wisers bottle cause no one else drank it! Back when it was the cheap rye. Now they have cheesy commercials and everyone wants to drink Wisers. Well your all band wagon jumpers!!!

5) This is not my first blog. In fact I had 2 others. 1 was good BUT I wasn't honest. It was a pseudonym. I let it die and I don't even remember the name of it anymore. The second was an experiment. I set up a fake facebook, twitter and blog. All I did was post a couple porn pics and had 5 times the followers I do now. It is gone too, so quit looking perverts.

6) Here is a messed up one. I cannot pee sitting down. I have a poop and I cant have a piss at the same time. Dunno why. Also I am very regular even my boss knows at 9 AM if he cant find me I am having my morning deuce.

7) History, Religion and Conspiracies have me hooked! (That movie National Treasure, ya I liked it. Also the DaVinci code.) How did Kings exist for so long? Like the people easily coulda taken power way before they did. All these different people from The Mongol Hordes to the Roman Empire are fascinating. And religion, if I win the lotto I might take theology. First how can so many religions have similarities??? Who was the man Jesus? Are angels and Demons real. I believe there is more than just out there. And Conspiracies awesome. What really happened to the Knights Templar. Are the Masons really an evil empire??? This shit is so cool

8) I am an AVERAGE drop out. Seriously average. Last weekend I came across my highschool and junior high transcripts. I honestly thought I did better! I had very few honours. And the comments were could do much better if applied himself. Also I dropped out of college twice. Not that I am bitter it was my own fault but Fuck You Grant Mac!! Same as with my writing I start a million things. In all honesty I would say I have at least 12 writing projects in half assed stages. Also I am currently working on try to build an app for smartphones. I start a ton, lose interest and start to fail at it.  No Finish Tavis should be my code name. Hell this is day 4 of the challenge but it is the 9th of April...

9) I hate dentists. And needles. Like borderline phobia. I am also very uncomfortable with spiders. That is why I need my wisdom teeth out, have 0 tattoos and hate outhouses.

10) I support organ donation and Ronald McDonald house. My youngest brother was born with Kidney Failure. He was given one of my moms after his were taken out at 2 years old. If it can saves lives I am for it. Also we stayed in Ronald McDonald house for over 60 days. It is a cause I very much support!

Edmonton / Highway of Tears

This was going to be a small paragraph in a bigger random blog but it grew really fast and the fact is I thought it was rather interesting so it will be post of its own. I decided to add some of these womens names. I once heard a pod about Jack the Rippers victims, that humanized them. I think thats what should be done, why glorify freak shows and forget about the people who suffered because of them. Also I added a bit more as I was just going to, just quickly mention Edmonton but I think it is bigger than that. Also still cannot find a legit decent looking charity to donate to for MMIWG.... Msg me if you know one! IS there a serial killer in Edmonton? Or was there one active? On another long drive home I came across podcasts on EPS, which led to pods on what they called the Edmonton - Leduc murders. Which if you have been around Edmonton for awhile I know you have heard of. I just was unaware of the amount and length of time this had been going on. First thing though not all these mur...

Alberta Politics Pre 2019 election

Ahh that lovely time every few years when we see the worst in all people is upon us! That's right elections are coming! The brutal truth is both federally and provincially we are going to see shit get nasty. From both sides, let's not pretend anyone is innocent. This is all I am going to say on politics for awhile, at least until elections OR if something crazy happens. I really need to concentrate on actual writing. Not twitter bickering with people. So here is it my thoughts on the current federal and provincial politics. (Breaking this into 2 parts. This one is going to be just media and Alberta) First let's start with the sideliners. The media and the peanut gallery. Rebel Media OR Chicken little media. Whichever you want to call them is fine by me. It has been years now I was blocked for using common sense or not drinking the Kool-aid by Ezzie and the Rebel account. I can say I never dropped into name calling or anything like that with either, but I guess not believi...

Part 3 Addiction

So, I have stated first, we need the correct systems in place, and second, we need healthy citizens for a better society. One of the root problems in society, though, is addiction. A mental health problem that can lead to so much more. Family violence, crime, homelessness, job loss, and on and on. There is no cure for addiction. There is management, and there are many things we can do much better to help addicts and society. So, let's tackle this one next.  I like drinking! I like the taste of a good whiskey or red wine. Or the supposed "no taste" of good vodka. I like that little boost of confidence that tells me, hell ya, you can dance! Or the fact that, yes, after a long day, it does take an edge off. I have a ton of great memories of times when booze was around... The flip side of that is I'm not too fond of hangovers. I hate not knowing what happened the night before; I guess there is a term for this now: hangxiety. Some of my worst memories and things I hate abo...
