2001/2002 College round 2

I started me versus school round 2. I dunno if it was fair cause well I was doing the same stuff. Here is what was funny though. I handed in the same unedited essays to my new professor, the ones doctor whore face said were terrible and he disagreed. The grammar and shit was garbage but I had a very strong "voice". I didn't skip his class! Round 2 I was doing so much better! For now. 9/11 happened in here. I kinda glazed over it but this was about when it happened. My second crack at school. I remember I had worked late the night before, slept in because I didn't have any early classes and when I showed up it was strange. People were sitting around out front and everyone was sitting in the common areas of GMCC. So I asked someone, whats going on. All they could say was America was under attack. I didn't get it, when someone says that I thought the a military strike. I rushed to the nearest TV, both planes had hit but they were showing it over and over and trying

All So Stupid!

Protest, counter protest. We are right, you are wrong. You're all stupid! Taking a break from my regular series of blogs to say that! Now let me be clear that was for the world in general. As the world burns, everyone is getting more and more divided. Charlottesville is the perfect example of that. It is starting to seem like the world lost common sense and a middle ground to just break into little hate groups. Let's start with the "altright" These clowns in the KKK or who follow shitstains like Dr. David Duke. You gotta move out of the 50's or whatever generation you are locked in. There is no conspiracy  to wipe of the "white" race. PS White isn't even a fucking race. Unlike the million years before now people travel and  mingle. Blood gets mixed, it doesn't matter. A persons skin tone, religion, sexual preference really shouldn't matter. It should be that people judge others on their character and actions none of this other bullshit. But

Edmonton year 1

The great adventure started June 28th 2000. Shwa, Ditch and I drove down to Edmonton  in my beat up car. We booked in a hotel in downtown and started our house hunt by visiting my cousin, Auntie Glos kid who lived here. We had circled a bunch of places in the classified and showed them to her. She scribbled them all out and said not in those areas. There was a reason they were cheap. She helped us find more and we spend the next day and a half looking and applying. We honestly got our heart set on one place. We nicknamed it Melrose Place, you 90s people will get it. Everyone was young and pretty and seemed to know each other. June 29th was my 19th birthday. So that night we went out to Whyte Ave! We had at least 10 applications out and we celebrated our asses off. Then reality crashed in. The 30th I got up and realized I was out of something. I don't even remember what, it was like pitstick or something so I got dressed left the hotel and started walking downtown. Then some lady

High School Adventures!

High school was really about 2 things and maybe they weren't the right 2 things. MY first job and my girlfriend. But aint that a guys problem all his life?? Money and women??!! :) When we got back from Edmonton with Lil Beast I got a phone call. Not to apply on a job, no, but that I had a job at a local chain restaurant. The manager had been friends with my uncle for as long as I can remember. The general manager who everyone mistakenly thought was the owner was also friends with mom for as long as I could remember. So there it was no interview no nothing, just you start Monday after school. I was a bus boy, I cleaned tables, made salads and brought food out when needed BUT I was not ready on my first shift to carry food. That requires training!  HAHAHAHAHAH (No offense people in restaurants, but working in one from 15 - mid twenties no it really doesn't) AT this point I was still kinda shy and awkward. So the general manager brought all the waitresses and bus girls together.

The Early Years of Drunky Bear!

So since I have run out currently of blog topics I guess I can tell you a bit about me. How I ended up having this blog and maybe where some of my ideas come from..... I was born on the Bayou, no that's a lie. I was born in a brier patch! Also another lie, I might use the name Br'er rabbit on twitter but it is only because I like his stories, it would be cool though, I would love to see the South. Shit I was cute! I was born in Edmonton. 1981, June. So yes I am currently 36. I didn't live in Edmonton or at least I didn't grow up here. I was born in the U of A hospital 4 lbs, 12 oz. I assume that is small, as I did spend a bit of time there. Truth is my mom was a teen mom. Not a trash bag hoe like the ones they make famous on MTV. Looking at you Farrah! Anyways, I have no idea but I don't think that was easy back then, I mean it aint now. So for the first couple years of my life we lived with my grandparents. I am still very close to them. Now in my mind I ha
