 Gonna say this is a mixed bag some poli and some pop culture. You were warned Bad women, the ripper retold I briefly brought up in my podcast blog but I want to touch on it and society a bit more here. First off, ALL theories on Jack the Ripper are valid. NO wait that isn't 100% true, some are so out there they aren't HOWEVER researched ones are. Hallie Rubenhold doesn't believe that though and it does make me a bit sad. Honestly her pod is great, she does something that I personally never heard before. Telling us where these victims of Jack came from, humanizing them. That is good work and I applaud her. The issue I take is with her stubbornness as much as "ripperoligists" she doesn't agree with. She has a fresh new look on the Ripper murders and that is great but it does not disprove any old theories.  The murders are over 100 years old. I highly doubt anyone will ever solve them now. SPOILERS below just FYI for Witcher Netflix season 2 I said I wasn't doing this, in fact I have another blog almost good to go saying no more random blogs BUT I have to do this one. Its the Witcher! Its my jam! The books are awesome and I admit I sadly only played Wild Hunt I didn't do 1 or 2 but I do know the storylines.... So let me quickly jump into Netflix season 2.... First let me say I have heard more than once they have a seven season goal. I admit 7 / 8 seems to be the ideal length for shows. Look at Walking Dead and it dragging out and getting awful.... BUT I am asking for more than 7! Or at least more episodes / season if that is the plan. I pretty much watched the whole season in a Sunday afternoon evening. You could make 7 seasons just based on the Wild Hunt game let alone all the source material they are using for the show. (Hell Blood and Wine could be a few seasons & even Hearts of Stone is a season or 2) First off I want to say production value seems better.

 PODCASTS! FYI labelling this one pop culture. I will admit a tiny drop of politics may be mentioned but not much in this post.... I have had a lot of time on the road to listen to a few pods over the last month & next month I am sure I will be out spreading Xmas cheer so I will get a whole bunch more in. Let me tell you about them.... Actually let me start with some general Pod thoughts. First PODBEAN! get your shit together! I liked using the app, it seems like an indy app or something that people should support so we aren't all just on Spotify or apple music. However it is constantly dropping episodes. Not "loading files" I try every time to use it but then usually end up on Spotify. Also this is my blog and I would not listen to anyone tell me how to run it, so I do see the hypocrisy in this statement but if your going to run a pod, run it right. This one is a VERY political post, if your not a fan of my politics maybe just close it.... As of this writing there has not been an announcement by the jury  Kyle Rittenhouse took 2 lives, for that he should face some sort of punishment. If you want my opinion I don't really care that he did BUT if we want a society run with laws and order yes sadly he should be punished. Now I don't think by any means it should be a murder 1 charge. You always hear these sob stories about how society failed someone, Kyle was failed by society. First off, if you look up Kenosha and what happened Wikipedia calls it "Unrest" It WASN'T fucking unrest there is over $50 million dollars in damage. It was arson and riots. Unrest is protesters with signs at the legislature grounds here, chanting or whatever they do. Hell unrest could be the blockades of pipelines. $50 million in damage is not fucking unrest, it is disgusting that mainstream media is painting it down. Call a spade a spade

 I was trying to work a bit of my life into where my politics came from BUT this is already WAY longer than I planned, plus if you scroll back I have like an 8 part or something autobiography. So I will just make this part quick. I grew up in Grande Prairie in the 80s and 90s. My mom had me fairly young so I spent a LOT of time with my grandparents who I am really close with. We were / are just an average middle class family. Early on I was big into reading and writing. My grandmother was part owner in a book store. I was an only child until 14 so I spent a lot of time alone and need to get an imagination.... Throw out all your redneck stereotypes, other than fishing I wasn't anywhere near that. My step dad did take me hunting and buy me my first gun. So yes I did learn things like that eventually BUT I am far from that. In fact when I moved to Edmonton at 19 in 2000 I was more likely a NDP city boy... I did grow up, it just took some time. Did average in school but did come in 3rd

 Lets start with honesty, this entry will be quick and dirty. (Right there thats not honest. I meant to do that but it exploded and this is now a 2 parter)  It is about me and what I believe and it is brought on by my new favorite podcast. Behind the Bastards. I ranted a tiny bit about them last blog and this is a carry on from that. When they do a real bastard it is one of the funniest and most well written pods I have heard in a long time. Honestly my only issue is the left leaning smugness that comes up if it has anything to do with politics in the current world. I need to be SUPER clear here, just because someone doesn't agree with a left leaning view hardly makes them a Nazi. That drove me mental, I cannot remember which episode it was but the Nazi Vs Commie debate was touched on, which is better?? NEITHER!! These are the two most bloody regimes in history. Just walk away and don't try and say either one was better... Also don't bring Antifa on as legit commenters. The

 Futurama needs a come back. I will be honest I didn't pay much attention when it came out. I thought it was a Simpsons knock off cash grab. Boy was I wrong. Simpsons IMO at least was the king of animation. While South Park and Family guy are hilarious and have some awesome episodes no one actually hit suburban life like the Simpsons. I am willing to say up to about the 15 - 18 ish seasons we watched every new episode, it was gold. Now maybe it is being milked.... BUT like always losing focus, anyways I THOUGHT Futurama was a knock off. Yes I know who created it, just thought they were milking. I was wrong, watching the whole series now on Disney plus this is the smartest comedy out there. I want it reaired now so peoples heads explode! With all this fighting over men competing in women's sports I want some gender "Bender" episodes out there. Of course there is plain old jokes but even things in the background or the subtle humor is great. The comments on society alon
