My current relationship, well here we go. I guess I should start by saying I am engaged. Have been for only a few months now. We have been together for roughly 5 ish years now. It has been interesting, has had its ups and its downs. Here I guess is how we got here.... I was the captain of a co-ed hockey team. Also on that team was my girlfriend of 9 years. One season we really needed females so we asked another woman on the team if she could bring a friend or two. She brought a shy female defense woman. She played a couple seasons with us. During that time my personal life changed. We broke up. I moved in with a mutual friend and life carried on. I had a strong love affair with a few whiskeys bottles for a bit, but I was encouraged to ask the new girl out. Eventually I did. A fruit I dislike and why? Can I say Perez Hilton? Or are we being PC and meaning an actual fruit? I mean it would be way easier to rant about a loud mouth jackass than a real fruit cause I do like most fruit. Almost any fruit ending in the word berry is good. Raspberry, strawberry, blueberry.... Some of these topics are so random!! My thoughts on ageism, that is a random frickin topic! Like what do you wanna know? Do we have an example to work with or something....... I love to read. I don't even know how many books I have. It helps my grandma at one point had a second hand book store. SO it isn't just one genre, I own many genres. Plus for some reason in High School I liked to steal texts books so I have some of them too. Anyways I like this topic cause I have a ton to choose from. A book I liked, the list is too long. Well this one is hard. How can you pick a place to live that you have never visited. I mean I could easily live in Havana or L.A I love those cities but they are disqualified cause I have been there. SO I start to think of places I wanna go and the list is huge!! But would I want to live there? Russia would be amazing to see, actually most of the "Eastern Block" would be. I have a polish friend who has shown me pictures and it really doesn't look all grey and dead like TV makes it out to be. But I think that would totally be a holiday spot. AH young love, the 3rd part of a 30 part challenge. I am a tenth done! And I already confessed my memories are hazy at best. This is more recent though, only 20 years ago (Fuck I am old) so I am a little less hazy. Lets start with young love. Does a 15 year old know what love is? I am gonna start this with my memory is awful. And I ain't sure why. I am by no means a pot smoker. Which I hear can affect ones short term memory. And I will admit I do drink, maybe more than I should in the past and still some now. But again not nearly enough I don't think to make me lose anything. My memory is just bad! So as the first of thirty writing challenges, I am going to blog about social media. I mean I wanted to do this on its own but I will shorten it down for this challenge and rant my 5 biggest problems with this modern problem. Social Media. 1) Every clown can now say whatever they want to major audiences. I mean not me, my blog gets like 0 hits but some people can spit hate to anyone. Look at clowns like Return of Kings, retards like Roosh gain insane amounts of followers. Men who hate their lives find a spokesperson and parasites who in the past would not see the light of day become pseudo celebs. Look at white power or even black power on shit like twitter. Spitting hate towards fellow man. I don't think that is why the Internet or social media was invented.
