 3, I currently have 3 blogs half done NOT counting this one. So I aim to finish them, just been a lot going on with my head full of ideas and none flow together great. So this is a mixed bag... Lets time travel, to the late 80s, early 90s. I am a hockey nut. I love hockey cards, collect them all. Love spending hours outside playing hockey in front of the house winter or summer. My fav team should have been the Oilers in Northern Alberta right? Wrong I went by my hockey cards and liked Detroit. They had these 2 young superstars Lidstrom and Fedorov. Plus some guy named Stevie was the captain. For a few years I was big into hockey, then about high school I stopped really caring. They were just jocks, lame. Of course this was the time the Wings were unbeatable and it would have been way better to be a loud and proud fan....I moved to Edmonton and was surrounded by Oiler fans and still didn't care. Music is something I love. I have it on for most things I do. Work, travel, sports, just chilling at home. I make little playlists for everything. Pre sports lists, country lists, rap lists, chill lists, if I am in a mood I think of a list for it. I also love MOST music. Honestly pop is the only music I don't download. Simple fact is pop, or good pop is hard to avoid so I don't really need to download it. It will be forced on me. I fear though I am becoming the guys I hated a few years back.... I am becoming that guy who is saying fuck new music sucks. I like, in no order.... Guns N Roses, Metallica, Motley Crue, Korn, System, Nirvana, Hed P.E, Dr. Dre, NWA, Eminem, Pac, Johnny Cash, Alan Jackson. That's my meat and potatoes. There are tons more but those can always pick me up. HOWEVER even the stuff they have done in the last decade is not AMAZING. So really nothing has blown my mind in years...... Rap is a funny kinda music. Or genre I guess I should say. You literally can make a name for yourself by shitting on, "dissing" someone else. Like you might hear of a disagreement between say Garth Brooks and Alan Jackson BUT  not writing songs that are attack songs. PS that was fictional idea I don't think there is a "beef" there. Anyways I just have to laugh about people trying to do that to make a name. Face it Eminem is the biggest star in rap, like him or not. SO you see people taking shots at him. Look at MGK earlier this year and now Nick Cannon. Seriously, weren't you on Nickelodeon and in that drum line movie. NO one respects you in rap, just quit while your ahead. Who the fuck is Machine Gun Kelly? Seriously two weeks ago I would have had no idea. This week I think he might be the smartest self promoter since Eazy E, their ain't no bad publicity. Anyways we get here because of Yelawolf. See I heard Yela's music on Sons of Anarchy and had to go buy a CD. I was hooked and bought them all. Started following him on Instagram and he posted pics with this MGK kid. Of course I listened to a couple of his songs and damn it if I didn't like him too! So I was going to go buy a CD of his (People still buy CDs just FYI) when Eminem dropped a surprise album. Honestly I haven't heard it yet but I hear it is back to what fans expect from him. Not this Revival album. (I get it, the point behind that album but I have to admit it was miss) So MGK gets bumped and I want this new Eminem album, but I was sick all weekend and didn't go buy it. So I have yet to win the lotto, gonna say that sucks. Still not rich and still have to go to work. Maybe it is western alienation but why are the lottos always won out east? On the flip side I cant wait till tomorrow as I  get better looking everyday! My littlest brother is moving to Edmonton next week. For his first year of University. Now I understand when people feel old. I remember the day he was born. Moving in with the ole lady and a friend. Let it be written record I don't think that is a great living arrangement. The whole third wheel thing never works. It was what I did when I moved here. When we moved apart there was some bitter feelings. But I do wish them BEST of luck and hope they end up better roomies than we were. I put that on my brother though to be a good roomie as it is more on the couple, they can make things awkward.....
