SPOILERS below just FYI for Witcher Netflix season 2 I said I wasn't doing this, in fact I have another blog almost good to go saying no more random blogs BUT I have to do this one. Its the Witcher! Its my jam! The books are awesome and I admit I sadly only played Wild Hunt I didn't do 1 or 2 but I do know the storylines.... So let me quickly jump into Netflix season 2.... First let me say I have heard more than once they have a seven season goal. I admit 7 / 8 seems to be the ideal length for shows. Look at Walking Dead and it dragging out and getting awful.... BUT I am asking for more than 7! Or at least more episodes / season if that is the plan. I pretty much watched the whole season in a Sunday afternoon evening. You could make 7 seasons just based on the Wild Hunt game let alone all the source material they are using for the show. (Hell Blood and Wine could be a few seasons & even Hearts of Stone is a season or 2) First off I want to say production value seems better....

 I did a TV post not too long ago so I will keep this one short. We recently watched the Haunting of Hill House and the Haunting of Bly manor. I don't know if I would call these horror or suspense. They don't do a lot of jump scares, they are more creepy which to me at least is better. Not relying on a corny method to get a reaction BUT then is it horror? You not really scared. I went to bed every night fine after them. So I dunno what you want to call them BUT in my mind they are VERY well done. I do have to say there is another horror anthology series that is stupid popular. Difference between the two, AHS often will mix in politics or current world views where as Haunting is just purely horror. Which I think I prefer. also spoilers below FYI, if you haven't watched.... So what's good? I am constantly asking myself that. There are a million options now a days. Cable, which is going downhill, Disney Plus, Netflix and Prime are all the things we have. I could go on about a million shows I have watched over the years BUT I think I am going to say it has to have aired in the last 3. I also figure I need to keep it down two 1 or 2 per service or this will go on all day.  I have to start with Game of Thrones. I am not about to go deep into it because for 7 seasons it was the best show on T.V. Yes it had some slow moments and some gross moments but it might have been the best thing on T.V. I will go as far as to say ever. Then we had the final season, with no source material. Could we just redo it? I am not complaining because I didn't like it, that it wasn't an ending I wanted. I mean how often did that show do something fans didn't want. I rant because it really was awful. Arya killed the Night King. Sure that was awesome, but that's it...

So just watched the Aaron Hernadez doc on Netflix. WOW was that kinda fucked. Lets start with imagine he wasn't crazy and played for the Pats for years. How many more championships would they have? But lets look at his life. Was he doomed from day 1? His dad did kept him on the straight and narrow BUT at what cost? Did abuse fuck him up? Then we have his closeted homosexuality. That cannot be easy, flip side there are many closeted people and they don't all go around murdering people. I gotta say his mom really fucked him up. She starts sleeping with a new man right after his dad dies and his aunties ex on top of that? That has to mess with the head. So he basically starts hanging around aunt and bad crowd? This just seems like a bad mix. The fact college covered up possible crimes is terrible as well. I get the money end but there has to be some responsibility. Finally the NFL. So I give my wife a hard time for watching trash TV on the TLC Trash Learning Channel or whatever it is all the time. But this time was me, Covid and Tiger King weekend. I said I was doing less blogging and it would be more pointed and not until 2020. This one is more pointed at least. Not just the scribbles in my head. Rap is a funny kinda music. Or genre I guess I should say. You literally can make a name for yourself by shitting on, "dissing" someone else. Like you might hear of a disagreement between say Garth Brooks and Alan Jackson BUT  not writing songs that are attack songs. PS that was fictional idea I don't think there is a "beef" there. I Yoga'd! I want a bumper sticker that says that. Okay it wasn't the first time. I had done "relaxation" yoga before. I enjoyed it, There wasn't much to it, ground poses and a lot of time to think This new one was kind of the same. Slightly more intense. Plus much warmer and not even so called hot yoga. Like the Butterfly pose. Wow it pointed out I have old man hips. It still had a lot of laying on the ground. Internalizing. But with other lower body poses. Ones that told me yes you need to stretch more. I am at a loss though, when they tell you to relax your mind what the goal is. Maybe my mind is too relaxed, with TV, books, video games, writing.
