Omar Khadr

I gotta say a quick piece on this. I have put it in my head to do some blogs that aren't so political, so if you have an idea for me send it to me!!! That's right I am asking for ideas cause currently I am tapped. Which might be good, maybe a bit of my other writing can get done.Right now though the big thing is Canada paying a terrorist.... So here is what I have to say about Omar... The facts are easy to follow. Omar was born in Canada, which our laws give hims all our rights and freedoms. Supposedly his father wasn't a very good Canadian. He kinda had terrorist leanings. He dragged his son into this. Poor Omar at the age of 15 got into a gun fight with US forces. He tossed a grenade which killed one man and wounded another plus he was injured and captured. Now we run into the problems. Omar went to Gitmo. That's not a nice place. We are the good guys, we tell ourselves that and for the most part it is true. The world, like war is changing. Our enemies no longer...

Summer Holiday

So my 10 days off are wrapping up :(   I didn't manage to win the lotto so it will be back to work. It was actually a really good holiday. Got a lot done besides playing NHL2016 in the morning. So I guess I can write a small holiday fluff piece! First off I turned 36 on my holiday, gawd I am old what happened!! I did get taken out to Parlour for my Bday. If you haven't tried it you should. Great Italian food and good wine. Also went out for pho one night and had a drink on the Cactus Club Patio. Plus got out golfing twice. Dragonshead is a decent little par 3. Good if you want a quick round. Also did Duffys challenge. Much more like a real course (Still par 3) so good though. Rent a cart, it is worth it. Liked the first 9 so much paid the difference to do the back nine. And on he bright side got better with each round.... Maybe one day I will be ready for a real course lol. Seriously WTF Justin, I didn't wanna write much political and I wont but seriously in an address ...

Random June Junk!

So this is a fluff piece! The fact is I am starting 10 days off (Down to 8 now, started this 2 days ago!) and I really wanted to have a rough draft done for a kids story that a friend might do some drawings for. I hit the common stumbling block I often hit. I work on at least 3 stories in my head at a time. Then one over powers another and I want to focus on it. Well after thinking the kids story for weeks a different one has taken control. This week I NEED to focus on the kids story but cant, so hoping some fluff will put me in the right mind set to get back on that. So fluff time, then FOCUS! Firstly 10 days off! I have never had this much time off and not had something to do. Like last times we had weeks off we went to Disney. If only I could I would be on a plane there now! Before that we went to Victoria. Stay Cation it is, trying to find ways to not be bored. So I made a small list of shit to do. (Another update, list done.... 8 days to go) Some staining and painting around the...

Dogs (A day in the life)

Dogs are funny. They cannot communicate with a hello but they have mastered that simply with a look. They can tell you when they are hungry, have to use the washroom or when they just wanna play. They are more loyal than almost any human I have ever met. When you are sick they come to cuddle. I am not sure what humanity has done to deserve dogs. Cats I get why we have them. They are evil. They show no loyalty. They expect that they can shit in a box and you will clean it up.  Most of them don't come over for cuddles. They are the exact opposite of mans best friend. I had a friend say to me once, lock your wife and your dog in a trunk. When you open it a few hours later who is happy to see you? Pretty sure you know the answer. On top of that you can train them to do anything and they are happy to do it. To put there life on the line for humans. How many people can say they do that? They are just a great animal. I have had my current lil buddy for almost three years now...... Here is...

Surgery - Pulling Teeth

I am okay with pain, I mean no one likes it. Or no sane person does BUT I can deal with it if I have to. I wont lie I am a big baby if I can be. Like the man flu is a real thing for me, being hung over is one thing you did that to yourself but getting sick just sucks! That was off topic but anyways if I need to push through pain I think I can. I have had stitches, mild concussions, broken a leg, collar bones, arm and wrist. Not unfamiliar with pain but I have never had surgery before though...... So I am semi retarded. I had perfect wisdom teeth. Probably why I am so wise.... They would have never needed to come out had they not been rotten. I don't like dentists, I believe it was about 5 - 7 years I didn't go. On top of that I could never be in gay porn (Or my receptionist said a good boyfriend) cause I have the worlds worst gag reflex. Like even brushing sometimes my eyes water. SO I didn't clean the wisdom teeth nearly good enough. 3 years ago I was told they needed to...

UCP

First off I have to say this was started oh weeks ago at least, when it was more relevant. Right now the world is centered on Manchester. (And now London) As it should be. I am going to sound a bit like the people I am going to call out but Manchester should be a call to arms. Our enemies (Yes they are our enemies, they want to kill us) are fine killing children when they are out simply enjoying life. Political Correctness can only go so long, it is time to move, like people did before in war time. They ignored and appeased Hitler, how did that turn out? Feeling sorry about people who hate our way of life and all we believe in is crazy. I am not Rebel media but they do have 1 thing right we do need to defend our existence. Oh and the gag order that is M103 is also complete idiocy, just saying. Anyways back to the regularly scheduled broadcast.... The right has risen! According to Derek Fildebrandt more than just the far right. A recent poll (Not sure who was in said poll) no party ha...

Banff

SO my fiance won an award for her schooling in insurance. 2 years worth of work and she is top student in Alberta and was less than a percentage point from top in Canada. That's pretty sweet and she is getting an award at the Banff Springs. SO we decided to make it into a three day weekend. It feels like a betrayal to say this but I love Banff! I cant ever really remember being here before. Like I know and love Jasper but this was kinda my first time to Banff. I have stopped for lunch here and we spent a weekend in the Fairmont BUT I have never seen and done the town... So here is what I think of it. (If you yelp you can looked me up as Tavis P from St. Albert for some more reviews of places) We took the back roads through Olds and down Highway 1A. If I had the Harley I dream of this would be a sweet ride. If it was summer it would have been better to, but all in all except for the impatience assholes it was a nice drive. Our hotel the Best Western is on the edge of the city. J...
