Pop Culture April

I have like 5 blogs started so I am finishing them up and I guess / hope in the last / next few weeks there will have been a lot put out by me! This is all pop culture and full I know a few of my last ones have all been anger and politics. So lets just chill!! First I am amazed by how even ball hockey has been in our div. after they divided into 2 divs it has been good. Like extremely even. As of this writing we are 6-3-2 and everyone is with 4 points of each other. Has been an interesting. One of our games we forgot to get a goalie a team playing afterwards that watched the game were impressed we could keep it so close. Also getting 7 goals for us that game was pretty damn good. Of course we lost 11-7 but it got desperate, they just kept dumping by the end hoping to hit the empty net. I currently am (Probably not after writing this, will jinx myself.) having my best season since 2011. I was 30 then, be 42 this year...  Think we could probably win our div this season, but I s...

Dogs!

A lot of my blogs have been angry recently. SO here is just some fluff on my boys, my dogs. I think I did one like this before but they make me happy and I kinda want that these days!! "Dogs lives are to short. That's their only fault really." Anges Turnbull The world cannot say enough good about dogs. There is no living being more loyal, faithful and just happy to see their human than a dog. I heard it before "Lock your wife and dog in the truck for an hour, when you open it who is happy to see you?" Pretty sure you know the answer. A dog has nothing but love even people who are cruel to their dogs, for some reason that dog comes back. Hell I believe they are just good creatures. Even the "Bad or Scary" ones. You can raise any dog to be a good dog if you put the time in and if a dog is bad it usually falls right on the owner. Don't get me wrong, I like cats. For a large portion of my life, up until I was like 30 we usually had a cat. They are grea...

EPS police tragedy

This is a quick rant, that could have been a long thread of tweets but this is just easier.  Today is a day to shut the fuck up about your politics and the police in Edmonton. Or at least not mix the two in regards to the tragic shooting. You may not like the UCP, I may not like the Edmonton city council. Thoughts on gun control, defunding police whatever your views and mine are, we need to shut the fuck up. As of this writing, there aren't a ton of facts out there on anything. Except 2 police officers died in the line of duty responding to a domestic incident. At this point nothing else matters. Families are now grieving over loss of loved ones, who were legitimately trying to help with domestic violence. Right now your & my opinions just don't matter....... Not saying you can't ramble on about a million other things. I am sure you have another reason to hate the UCP. The city council. Debate the merits of gun control, just please have some fucking class and not mix t...

More Canadian issues....

I love people who are against credit scores and overdraft fees. Thats sarcasm and I say this as someone who has had a shit credit score for many years. Yes credit scores are annoying, they have kept me from phones and credit cards. They made me angry but I do understand them. The banks are not going to give money to someone who isn't going to pay it back. Companies aren't going to issue credit if you can't pay it. A lesson I learned. Right here I have to say thanks to Capital One and Bell for taking a chance. Oh and BMO as well. The system does need an overhaul though. If a person shows legit payments that should count for something. If you have been working hard and it shows, companies IMO should try and work with the person. I know micro loans worked very well in Bangladesh and could work here as well. A small loan paid back would show the person is trying and might be worth taking a risk on. Also to the people mad about credit scores, keep in mind loans before were base...

EA inquiry

This is just a quick blog that was a tweet, that just got too long. So the EA Inquiry is done. Or as you may know, it did we need the War Measure Act? Of course it was ruled as justified and liberal supporters rejoiced! They knew it was! For anyone with half a brain, it isn't surprising. The judge Rouleau is a liberal supporter, that cannot be denied. A lot of rumors flew which I am seeing as just that. It does not appear he is related to Castreau, even though that was stated. Most articles are VERY clear to say since becoming a judge he has not donated to the Liberal party. Funnily enough they refuse to say what he did before. What I am getting at is it doesn't seem like an impartial judge was appointed. That's politicking. The fact is it wouldn't matter what party was in power, they would have done the same. Also they almost have to find it was justified. What happens if it was found unjust? Do we honestly slip into riots? Do truckers jam up the streets again? Had it...
