So in my life I have worked in restaurants, office, warehouse, grocery store, coffee house, trade related jobs but not a trades person. So to be fair I there is a lot I haven't seen, but I have noticed the same people over and over in every job.... They are as follows......
The B's. Like worker bees get it? Whatever, anyways carrying on. These are the ones who actual work. Usually have good attendance, work hard and move up. Often showing some initiative. The problem with B's is some are pretty fucking cut throat.Willing to do whatever to get ahead. Good employees and not all are cut throat but I couldn't make them seem perfect.
Next is PARTY GUY! Party guy can be a B to except sometimes he forgets that when a late night party comes calling. He might be the guy at work who can get you some weed. And is the one on paydays and Fridays saying come on just 1 beer wont hurt. Looking at you 18 - 27 year old's.... Two things here as party guy gets older he starts to look a bit desperate if he doesn't become a B. And some party guys are let go to soon. No you cant run a business with party guy. But give him a couple chances, he grows up and he might be a good worker.
Know it all Ned. The loud guy who 15 years ago was party guy but never moved on. Ned has been everywhere, done everything and wont shut up! However Ned rents a shitty one bedroom apartment. Neddy could be running the company except the world was never fair to him. Think of a trailer park, envision a mayor.... You have Ned.
Slightly better than you Saul. What is the coolest thing you ever did? Did you bungee jump, ya well Saul he based jumped. You were in Cuba? Saul has been so many places Cuba is pretty ho hum. You have a kid with a chance to play junior hockey? Saul and or his kid was 1 step out of the NHL. Sometimes Saul and Ned are the same person, a super villain Sed!
Minority Mitch. Everything and everyone in the entire world is against Mitch. Mitch gets passed over for everything because of his, religion, sex, sexual preference, color. HR loves Mitch cause it keeps them busy with all the complaints he lodges. Also whenever Mitch is around you gotta watch what you say cause everything offends Mitch!!
Princess Pretty Flowers! Flowers knows she is hot. Has a great body or is just a general slut. Silly males end up doing work for Pretty Flowers. Party guy falls into the trap a lot. Princess never needs to break a sweat, get dirty or anything and still gets her job done. Most often the guys who fall into flowers Venus fly trap are the dumb asses who tip too much because they think a waitress smiling at them means a number is coming from her.
Bell tower Bart. I was gonna go with Garth the goth but they are to slightly different people. Garth is all dark and scary until he hits hmmm 23 and then just becomes strange, possibly living in his moms basement. Bart on the other hand might not be goth but he is scary. Look around your work, the guy everyone is sure is one day coming in with an AK and settling every beef he ever had at work, ya that's Bart.
Ulcer Ulrik. Nah he isn't a bad ass viking with a bad stomach like he sounds like, he is a B in training. But someone needs to ask Why so serious??? Ulrik might be new, learning his job. He lacks confidence and even if he is doing everything right has to constantly double check everything. Also Ulrik tries to take everything on and covers for slackers which is not helping that ulcer. Also some companies and bosses love taking advantage of Ulrik. He don't complain no matter what shit is tossed on him. However some day chances are Ulrik will be your boss so maybe be nice to him.
There are a million other guys out there but these are the ones I have seen most often.To be fair I think I have been all these people except flower cause I ain't that pretty. And Mitch cause well I really hate that guy. But I wrote this while I ate breakfast now I need a haircut and to do some dishes so how a great Saturday!
